I don't get this mentality at all, you just want us to spend money?

No I want us to improve our team which is what Palace and Hull are doing. I know we can't keep up with the spending of the big clubs, but we are unable to compete with much smaller clubs. Considering all the players sold and the money we have made on transfers for sometime now we should be able to improve our 1st XI with 1 attacking player

£25 for a cup game is hardly a lot. A season ticket is not that much more than an annual gym membership in some cases.

Where I live and the time I finish work rule out any chance of attending a midweek game. And why use a gym membership as a comparison, I dont have the time or money, or energy, for that either, some of us live in the real world of wages just about cover the bills, sunshine!!!

Every window I leave this day vowing never to spend next summer in the swamp, quicksand, black hole that is ITK. Hours upon hours of sifting, digging and waiting for information that I have absolutely zero influence over. And yet here I am waiting for the confirmation of MS or JR or MM and completely ignoring the fact that the signings we DID complete had little to no ITK reported.

So thank you ITKs (JJ, Ali, Rebrab, Grey Fox, etc.), thank you A&C, thank you fellow addicts, and even thank you BS agent twitter accounts for being there when I hit rock bottom multiple times a day. I have no one to blame but myself.

No major loses apart from Sandro (fan fave, but looks like he needs a fresh start- no one big in for him that we know of)

3 strikers for one spot isn't hat bad- I agree we could have done with an extra in place of one but I would expect Soldado to improve this year. He has been a quality striker for years and just needs a goal or two.

We need some time to bed in the new system/players before we know for sure but I am more positive for this year than last.

I personally would have been a bit disappointed with wellbeck for 16m, even though I do think he is quite good, just not what we need.

Last year spoiled us , we all want some big signings to crow about! We just don't necessarily need what we can afford...

All just IMHO- fingers crossed I'm right though yeah?
