The last time we made a significant net spend was back when our wage bill was about £65mill. Since then it's risen by around £25mill a year. Still doesn't explain the lack of spending the TV money this window, I suppose. The early morning ITK suggested the money was there it's just that the players haven't been available.

Waiting for the Story tomorrow that we tried for Lavezzi, Neymar, Negredo, etc at the last minute and offered 30 m but player wouldn't come to us/ or wanted too high wages!!
