Why is Lewis in UK atm? my opinion is because the boat show starts this week and he fancies a nice new yacht to willy wave at rich arabs in Antibes

We're not a luxury bit of fun for Lewis, we're not about laundering his money, or flaunting his wealth, we're an investment, upon which he hopes to make a return. That means he's not going to spend willy nilly, he going to try and sell us for a multiple of what he's put in, only if he does have we been a worthwhile investment.

Our place is indeed 6th.
But I'm afraid it is exactly correct for a club of our 'stature'.

Modern football success is based purely on income, nothing else. You can post "But we're the mighty Tottenham Hotspur" until you're blue in the face, but it won't stop us having the 6th highest income and the 6th highest wage bill in the league.

We belong in 6th place, and that's probably where we'll finish, give or take an exceptional, or exceptionally poor, season for another club.

When you factor in our average record in the Premier League years, it's actually above our stature. Too many people cling on to the days of old, but we simply aren't at the top of the tree anymore. Sad, but true.

Bubbie you really don't know what you're talking about. It's getting embarrassing now and you're irreparably damaging your reputation talking about stuff that you don't understand. We don't have the commercial or competition revenues of Liverpool and we don't have Champions League football to attract the players either.

Oh and the London boat show is utter toilet compared to Miami.

We did put £100M on players. Yes, we didn't do any net spend but to put £100M on players without having to net spend is a good thing to me. We developed a player to sell him for a world record fee and brought seven other players, including Eriksen, Lamela, Capoue. Great talents.

Funny enough I had feeling Kane would be loaned IF we get Welbeck. Harry Red did not seem overly concerned about the Liverpool striker coming.
