I actually think Dempsey is a cracking player - however, if we don't sign Moutinho on the back of losing VDV and Modric, its matters fuck all - its shambolic overall if you review who we've let go.

But how is it jeapordsing the deal? I don't think Moutinho is going to be that involved in negociating the deal. That's what the agent is for and I'm sure he's being kept up-to-date if anything is happening.

Sure some people on here say that he can sign and do a medical in portugal but by not following the usual transfer protocol of going to the club and completing a medical etc, surely that is jeapordising a deal, when there is a matter of hours left to do the deal?

Striker... Llorente, conflicting reports over whether this is dead in the water or not. Not sure why he'd want to stay there, thought he'd want out. Maybe waiting as late as possible to see if a CL league club come in, but time is running out.
Dempsey, not really struck. May be better than nothing though, dependant on fee.

Would be disappointed if we signed an AM, but didn't sign a striker.
