Sure some people on here say that he can sign and do a medical in portugal but by not following the usual transfer protocol of going to the club and completing a medical etc, surely that is jeapordising a deal, when there is a matter of hours left to do the deal?

He can sign subject to a medical, he could even go through the medical next week!

Why don't some of you miserable, moaning, sad arses save the vitriol until tomorrow, when the true picture will be clearer. That is the time for the bitching. Until then much can happen and much may have happened that has not yet come into the public domain. Thank goodness that a lot of you are nowhere near the decision making processes as we would be broke. The transfer market is not easy, particularly for a club like ours that has high ambitions which have to be balanced against a sound balance sheet and a sensible wages structure. The negotiating process is akin to a high level poker game but with the added complications of selling clubs demands, players agents, players demands, medicals, legal documentation, competition from other buyers etc. etc. All our signings so far have been excellent and I am hoping that there is still more business to be done. Accordingly I for one will wait until tomorrow before I kick the dog.

We are never happy! Earlier today when every itk(not just aqka) was saying Moutinho was done we were still getting at Levy for not signing a proper striker. I can´t believe all itk´s were wrong earlier. I still have faith.

The problem i have with all this is that POTL stated if the deals don't come off then the club are aware they have a major problem, this surely has to be the last time we leave everything so late, a deal for a player that could be snapped up as a bargain is fine, trying to back a manager with major targets and 2hrs left is a joke, Levy needs to look at this and realise its an afront to AVB.

You can sign players subject to medicals so he doesn't have to do it today. I'm sure we'll fly him over in the morning to do the medical if we agree terms with him before the deadline.
