Some points for you to consider:
He can play the WHOLE game, unlike VDV
He has consistently scored and assisted
He can cover several positions

So, what's the problem? don't need 1 player who can get 30 if you can have 3 (Bale, Ade, Dempsey) who will score 10-15 each.

He has not. He was joint top 3 with Adebayor last season, the season before that (10-11) he wasn't even in the top 5.

He's had ONE good season. He's mid table material.

It is pretty ridiculous:

Very happy bordering on ecstatic with the signings of Lloris, Vertonghen and Adebayor.

Also think Dempsey, Dembele and Sigurdsson are good signings and will add a lot to the squad.

Yet all of that but if we dont get Moutinho... cant help but think things are a bit ruined. Mental!

Calm down.

I know it's frightening signing a versatile player that won't need to get used to the Premier League, and who brings a great goalscoring record with him, but together we'll survive.

He's not Ginola or Klinsmann or Van Der Vaart - but he'll score goals. And I quite like goals.

Let's just see how this last hour plays out. You've all wound yourselves up ridiculously and have no-one but yourselves to blame!

Dempsey is clearly not replacing rafa he's a desperately Needed forward. He will be a good addition to the squad but if we don't get moutinho it will be an unforgivable balls up
