Why has third party involvement not been stopped by now? Contract should be between player and club and no bloody Joorabchians involved!

It has been stopped in England and that's what makes it so difficult to bring in players from abroad that have third party ownership as the buying club has to deal with different parties all with their own agenda.

All these people saying Dempsey is great; do you think AVB had this player in mind for his system? AVB has been shafted fast and hard up his jacksey by Levy and he's only just got here. Now all trust is lost.

Dempsey may not be the first choice, perfectly-planned, dream signing we all wanted, but he's a bloody good player who I think will have a far bigger impact than Pienaar did, and a very versatile player who is excellent in the air, which are the kind of qualities we've been lacking. Plus goals from midfield, which look like they might be in short supply otherwise. I think players should be judged by their performances, rather than who else didn't come to the club on the day they did. And if he does play rubbish, then fair enough but he's definitely worth a try.

Some points for you to consider:
He can play the WHOLE game, unlike VDV
He has consistently scored and assisted
He can cover several positions

So, what's the problem? don't need 1 player who can get 30 if you can have 3 (Bale, Ade, Dempsey) who will score 10-15 each.

You can sign players subject to medicals so he doesn't have to do it today. I'm sure we'll fly him over in the morning to do the medical if we agree terms with him before the deadline.

I would love to believe it but that is where the manipulation is. There never was a deal between the 2 clubs. If there was the player would not have flown with the Porto squad.

Remember - the important thing is for us all to pretend like we know exactly what happened behind the scenes so we have someone to blame. A dose of myopia is also needed so we can pretend like each transfer window and season as a whole occurs in a vacuum and the club exists only in the current season.
