as long as we had replaced modric i cudnt care less, honestly, even lloris i wudnt have cared (just as its not the end of the world this seaso, i belive brad will still have a great season if loris wasnt signed) , our main priority was replacing a world class midfielder that ran that orchestrated the team , made us fluid, style n pure class, and levy didnt deliver (again).

Some of you lot need to take a couple of concrete pills and toughen the fuck up a little.

Transfers aren't simple and sometimes they collapse because a compromise can't be found between the negotiating parties. You just have to accept we don't have all the information and get over that fact we might not sign the players you want.

Personally dont get the doom and gloom.

Modric wanted to go, we held onto him for another season and got a great price whilst not seeing him go to a rival in the league.
VdV wanted to go, his wife and old club wanted him to go home. He almost never finished 90 minutes, was a luxury player (that I loved), but given AVBs style, he would have been stuggling with the hard pressing.

We've signed Siggurdson, Dembele and Dempsey to replace these two.

The first two are extremely highly rated players who have drive, energy, a tackle, passing ability can shoot and are able to develop. Dempsey as a bonus scores goals, doesnt stop running for 90 mins and is a WINNER.

Am I sad to see Luka and Rafa go, of course. But its football, we arent as MASSIVE a club as people seem to think, players will go and players will come and replace them. Its the nature of the beast.

Lets rejoice in what we have. Moutinho would have happened if at all humanly possible. Maybe it'll happen at the last minute but if not then there will be a good reason as he was AVB's #1 target. I dont believe even Levy would not sign him over 3-4 million Euros, there has to be more to it than that.

I don't get all the hate for Dempsey. He's a quality player that scores goals and is a fierce competitor. Give him a fucking chance before pooing on him. We all get that he's not VDV, but that doesn't mean he's shite. Regardless of who else is on the squad, how can you not want a man capable of 20 goals on your side?

moutinho is not half as good as people think. He has been in out of the portugal team for the last 3-4 years come on. Last time he was linked with the PL it was Everton. Sure he has improved since then but seriously.

we've done some great business make no mistake on taht BUT we are lacking that creative Midfielder Moutinho was the icing on the cake!! now im just concerned we lack that creativity ....Hudd better step up
