Massively disappointed. This is the first time I've doubted Levy.

To sell Modric is one thing, but to sell Van der Vaart as well without replacing them adequately?

Madness.

What a fucking joke, levy has a choice, sell up and let a more adventrous chairman take the helm or for once grow some balls and actually go for it for once man !!!!!!!!!!!!

Slightly embarrased by some of the toys being thrown out. We've obviously been a bit spoilt recently and people forget we're Tottenham and not Real Madrid.

Would you swap our window for Liverpool's, Newcastle's, Everton's? No.

Chelsea, Man U and City were always going to blow us out of the water and arguably we've equalled or slightly bettered Arsenal.

We have Ade and Defoe (which is all we used last season), plus Dempsey can play as a striker and has done many times. It comes down to those who rate Defoe and those who dont IMO.

Is it perfect? No. But have we done a good job? Yes. The transfer market isnt as simple as wanting a player and buying them. We havent done a Liverpool and spaffed 100m on average crap just because we can. We've selected quality, trimmed the fat and sold a couple of great players for good money who wanted to leave. This isnt fantasy football ffs.

So plan D turned out to be cryptic for dempsey because you would have to go a lot further than fucking d until you reached clint mid-table dempsey on my list of Modric/Vdv replacements or wing/striker cover. I know we bagged lloris, but such a let down. Don't know why I got my hopes up, same old story #levytime

Got to leave the public sector and join the private where targets aren't so stringent. Pretty sure I could succeed on levy targets... Sell modric and vdv and get in mout... Cough cough cough
:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Your post is total fail! Or as you say in the public sector "fuck it, it'll do".

I had a funny feeling the moutinho deal would be in doubt when SNN said that Jenas's move to Sunderland fell through at 1pm.

Anyone else thinking Everton possibly end up 4th?

Big chance to overtake Arsenal........but once again....we are same old spurs

We'll be 5th/6th or maybe even 7th this season.

Just can't see it panning out any other way with the obligatory injuries we're likely to get along the way.

Best just to sit back, not expect mjuch and try and enjoy the footy itself.

I love you too :)

Surprisingly I'm in quite a good mood, not just because of you're declaration of love, but overall I think we might do better than some think - but I would of loved Moutinho - that would of capped off a great window despite the significant losses - and I wanted AVB to be backed proper - and Mout would of been a huge endorsement of support from Levy.

But still, today: Lloris, Dembele and Dempsey...fuck, they're good players.

and making me smile is no mean feat, given the shit I'm going through at the moment ;)

I think 4th is still very much realistic - mainly because Arsenal and Liverpool haven't improved enough to run away with the big boys. I think there will be a massive gulf in points between 3rd place and 4th place however.

Hope your right mate. Worried but have had some beerios tonight. Just feeling like were very thin on the ground in some areas and it's going to cost us. Hated watching us at home last weekend playing one up front against a shite team, especially after seeing us trying to rip any team apart at home last year. Hopefully AVB/Levy 'have this' :)

I for one can't understand why Livermore hasn't been blamed for tonight.
