Ok, so I'm not at the end of the thread yet, still have about 10 pages to go.

But am I right in saying that some people (BC cough) would not see having a stadium paid for as mind blowing news? If someone was to come to me and say, "Matt, here is a quarter of a mill, pay your house off, go on, fill your boots"

I'm gonna be over the moon, because I have suddenly got an extra grand in my pocket to... You know, spend!!

A stadium paid for or part paid for is immense. It means we don't have to borrow, we can start building ASAP, then when we are in, more punters, more corporates, much more revenue, more wages, PL winners and CL winners.

Or am I so far off the mark with this?

You are right, getting a 200m package will be immense, especially in the long term. I didn't mean to deride that in itself. I hope, or at least think I explained it better than you are giving me credit for. If we cover our remaining cost to develop the new stadium that will be very interesting, and of course, I would have thought, goes without saying that it will extremely good news. But it would not blow my socks off in terms of news. I have been expecting us to pull in a pretty major deal, including naming rights etc.

personally I'd have though having your mortgage paid off would be more exciting than hearing Spurs are having theirs paid off. Do you live in your WHL hospitality box ?

Am I missing something? Not posting in this thread does not equal not posting any ITK. There's a whole forum for that.

JJ said he was asked not to post ITK for the time being. We are at the beginning of Romeo and Juliet. By time time tomorrow some Capulets will have taken their lives.

He only said he was asked not to post ITK in this thread.

Ah my bad lol, should have realised, I didn't bet till his odds dropped to 4 for 1 :(
I bet as soon as his name came out from someone good. I wanted to bet AVB when his odds were good but spent too long getting to a bookies

'If the truth can be told so as to be understood, it will be believed.'

JJ wasn't/isn't ITK, he's the fucking Knowledge.

Why cryptics? Why a million guesses? What use are FACTS in a transfer RUMOURS forum? He's just too good.

Maybe the site's independence is compromised by having a paid employee using it as a drip feed for fan's information, maybe the site traffic became relentless, maybe this sub-section has become a pus-filled boil on the rest of the site; taking all it's resources to fight off the rabid interest of the rumour consumers., maybe the mods want a quieter life, maybe they want to concentrate on the rest of the Spurs world too.

Maybe if we'd just had a fucking manager by now and a few players, people would have chilled out!

Maybe the lazy-assed Goat (;)) will realise the misery he's caused by taking time off and we can resume some normal service soon.

Rob obviously has his reasons, which we should all respect... JJ`s info will be sorely missed but I`m sure he will continue to lurk in the shadows.....

One word, Goat (y)

I'm sure the mods have their reasons so lets not get all in a twist because of it, If it wasn't for them we wouldn't even have this site.

I think I've figured it out.

JJ's ITK was getting in the way of all the O/T discussions about Harry and the Spanish national team's style of football.
