When you get a source as good as JJ as a spurs fan and itk fiend it is hard not to get excited, the info he posts is the best we've ever had and it has led to people hanging on his every word. This has led to people including myself act a little ott, but when the info is as good as JJs you can sort of see why.

In modern football the fans and the club are as separated as possible and JJ provided a bridge. What spurs fan isn't going to want to run over that bridge as much as possible?

I'm not defending the constant barrage of questions but you can see why it occured

Fine, it seems really simple to me....if he wants to post itk then he posts in the RO. If he enters the itk or any other thread it is to chat only. People will learn quickly when the ban stick comes out. JJ is/was a massive asset to this forum, we the members certainly have to carry a lot of blame for this, but Rob et al need to also realise that JJ's loss is only to the detriment of this great forum. Its a damn shame for SC if they don't try to find a compromise that works.

JJ seemed quite reluctant to be leaving his post as in-house ITK. If that's the case then I guess he's not too bothered about the badgering and harassment he get's when posting. Surely it's better to have a virtual ITK pile on than 50 pages of utter bollocks like we've had today?

We did that with Dan Ashcroft four years ago. I don't think the experiment will be repeated.
