I wish Tim Sherwood would just fuck off. This isn't knee jerk, I'm just fed up of hearing about this average player who's somehow wormed his way to the top of our food chain.

Yeah Sherwood, whats he done apart from build one of the best youth set ups in the country.
Lets fuck him off.

I'm just irritated that somehow he's got to the head of this transfer committee. I'm fine with him being part of youth development, it's when he gets too involved in first team affairs that annoys me.

Wage demands are better than what I was thinking. It's always going to be different, we can't afford (in many ways) to have Bale on, say, £160k a week and then our next top earner of, say, Adebayor at £80k.

Thats a risk we take with any purchase ala Bentley.

its the whole chasing thing for what 3 years now and if he turned out to be a Rebrov, I would find that funny, he's more than likely not a Rebrov due to the amount of times scouts have watched him

Hmm. This is starting to look a little like Modric again, when none of us were expecting it and then... BAM. That awful day.

You make the assumption that it would all be invested into the squad as AVB would like.

In reality it would be a bunch of players worth sub 15 million because we wouldn't pay high enough wages.

We would simply have to, wouldn't we? Without Bale our squad is mid-table, and with a few mediocre seasons, I guess the quality players we have left would be inclined to leave.

JJ made it sound like he had handed a transfer request in/Levy had accepted a bid. So....all it is, is GB demanding more money if he is to sign a new contract?

He doesn't have to sign a new contract for us to keep him considering he is already under contract. Chill!

I think we decided that it related to Watford, based on the Harlequin being the former name of the shopping centre. Possible also that the ITKer got their rugby teams confused and meant Saracens as they used to play at Vicarage Road.
Still didn't resolve anything as most of Watford's squad are loanees from Udinese!

Cheers, i think thats even more spurious than my 2+2=5 but hey ho. Maybe its that young striker Vydra that we were talking about in January (though he is one of the SEVEN loans form Udinese!)

What?

Are you saying it was premature of me to hack off my left leg in anger?
