latest ITK from Hertyid is confusing, saying Leandro has multiple owners and they now want 30mill euros,

he just aint worth it, maybe time to move on if true

Yes it kind of contradicts everything else we've been told.

And 30 mill € just sounds absurd. Especially compared to 15 mill £ we've heard so far.

You do realise it's a personal twitter account too and he doesn't have to just post transfer/spurs related stuff?

Or is that a revelation to you?

Agreed, and atm there seems little signiuficant movement on any target in or out so they are having fun to killl time. Nothing wrong with that. People here need to distinguish betwen sensible info and personal stuff.

Well if you consider the £15m we offered Inter supposedly, then the other owners, agency fees, image rights pay off and wages, it will be pretty close to 30m euros.

I find these cliched remarks odd in the extreme...its quite obvious the boy can really play. Comparisons to donkey's such as Santa Cruz and Carroll perplex the feck out of me. When have they ever really demonstrated that sort of finesse on a football pitch. You either have that sort of ability or you don't.

Thats harsh on Santa Cruz. I think he was a good player, very under-rated. He had a good scoring record in Germany as well IIRC. I think he could have done well for us, I remember wanting him to come to us thinking that a lot of teams had missed a trick with him, he ended up just sat on a bench for a few seasons and disappeared. I reckon he would have had a very good scoring record if he had got the game time somewhere.

But wouldn't you normally think that the fee we offer is an offer for the whole package ( ) , and not just a part of the player.

Interesting? Not sure how reliable though. Translation beneath.

"Apparently, this time really want to buy Tottenham Leandro Damiao. The British, who last year came to make an offer of 15 million euros for the 9 shirt of Inter, and that was rejected, now would be willing to increase the bid for a further 3 million. And Inter was preparing to accept it.
Info realize that negotiations at around 18 million euros ($ 47.7 million), and in a few installments, could evolve rapidly over the next few days. And Dunga was about to lose another holder.
The Inter owns 70% of the rights to Leandro Damiao. The athletic, of Morrow (SC), holds the remaining 30%. In 2010, Tottenham bought Sandro to Inter. The steering wheel was delivered after winning the Libertadores.
The last big sale was the Inter Giuliano, the Dnipro, in January 2011, for 10 million euros. Oscar, traded to Chelsea last year, has left few resources for the club, because 50% of his rights belonged to businessman Giuliano Bertolucci and Inter still had to reimburse the São Paulo in $ 15 million."

At least they delivered the steering wheel eh?

Since we cannot own only 70% (3rd party ownership is not allowed in Europe), no point in bidding only for 70%, we can only bid for 100% and the isssue from their side is how much each of the owners get (and I bet its not in % of their ownership %), So the offer has to be for the whole player surely

Moutinho will be a great addition and allows The Boas to play his 4-3-3...well maybe...as long as defoe doesnt get crocked seeing as ade has buggered off.

Ultimately, we still need a striker. For the 7th window running.

I dont think that switching formation/style/tactics half way through the season is a smart thing to do personally.

The subject came up the other day, latest info we could find was :

http://www.futebolsc.com/noticia/17533/10/venda-de-damiao-pode-render-mais-de-r$-20-milhoes-ao-atletico-ib (plus another from the site dated a week ago conmfirming Inter having 70%)

This says 70% Inter, 27% his former club and 3% between 2 individuals. Tim Vickery has alsoi confirmed a week ago that there is multiple ownership.

The other day asked several people that said there was now a single owner to give the source for their info : nobbody's come back
Brasil_Spur was one of the people who stated Inter now owned 100% of the player. I thought he was pretty clued in on football over there.

Having a pretty good season with Malaga currently too...

Although in his entire career one season at Blackburn was the only time he's got to double figures for goals.

We should have moved on from him multiple times. History suggest that we will still be praying/hoping/demanding him come August 31st 2017

The buzz is regarding moutinho! :)

Some fairly big claims being made and to be fair I won't tread on their toes as if its true its their info to share. But let's just say, if they are right then he is our player!

I just haven't been able to confirm through my sources yet
Apparently Porto have signed someone as a replacement...have you read or heard anything?

Porto signed Izmailov, who's a RW. I don't think he's Moutinho's replacement unless the manager does some strange change of tactics
