Probably Levy! He's hatched a plan to spend everyone else's money this TW, hence the craziness!

In all honesty though, hope you get it sorted (y)

perhaps Rob is Levy and all our donations, have had our bank info shown up and raided to purchase all our signings.

this has been 1 crazy window, and I just really hope we gel as a squad very quickly to make this the season we have all waited a long time for. get to the semi's of Europa, play Stoke on my 50th Birthday after having the fixture moved a day back, and win the EPL that day would be the greatest present I could ever expect.

okay its a dream, but i'm allowed to i'm getting old

a lady been donated, wished it could be more

Quotes on my local news channel saying Ajax coach is coming to terms with Eriksen's move to Tottenham, says this will be a "huge loss" to the Ajax team. Surely this means the deal is well under way or even near completion?

If nothing else that statement makes it clear that Ajax - a club I still consider to be one of the biggest in Europe - are more than happy with what he brings to the team.

Some people seem to think he hasn't 'pushed on' since the hype of a couple of years ago, but it sounds like he's considered to be good enough to command a place in a key position for them.

I feel the players we are getting will be on board with Andre and hopefully they will have been sold the plan he has for us. A lot of them are young and hopefully hungry and so far the signings have seemed like very down to earth characters..... just look at Lamela's words to the Roma fans, really respectful and grown up.

players attitude will play a big role in the way that the team come together, hopefully everyone who is here has come here for the right reasons and not like City or Chelsea signings led by ridiculous wages. That attitude will transfer onto the pitch and hopefully we will win something this year, bringing the squad even closer together.

Hahaha POTL's round up explanation of what went wrong is going to be something like this.

"nothing. nothing at all - we smashed it left right and centre - we signed the whole fucking rainbow this time boys"

You made me bark out loud with this. In an open plan office, now the whole 3rd floor of Gleeds knows I've been webwalking

Made the same point a bit earlier in the thread, His initial "shine" has worn off to the bigger clubs but that by no means retracts from his talent and creativity. Would be a fantastic signing for us and if De Boer is resigned to losing him I can see this being completed in a day or two. They also showed a small clip of highlights for the kid and my word I was overwhelmed. His dead ball skills are insane and vision for passing is unreal for such a young and promising midfielder. Will definently bring a lot to our squad and overall gameplay even if his rep has deflated a bit over the last two years.

You never know, he may just be a footballer with morals who wants to move for progression and too a proper passionate team instead of some oil baron owned money orgy team for the sake of a few Ferrari's and Bentley's it really wouldn't surprise me with the attitude he's displayed.

If Holtby and Eriksen share the creative workload between games we should be well set in that department for the season ahead.

Does anyone else think that to really top of this window a new right full back would be lovely. Or am I the only one who really doesnt rate Walker?!

Looks like it ;)

Seriously he will get better and better - i think he's had a great start to the season.

Needs to up his defensive game and he will - got all the raw materials to be right up there.

I don't think I'd advocate replacing Walker, but on last season's form I am not his biggest fan. He has some wonderful raw atttributes, that hopefully can be moulded into a dependable, long-term option for us, but if only he had a brain in his head and didn't make so many stupid decisions. However, if there's to be any point in having a youth policy and signing young players from this country, we can't just buy a ready-made option in for every position at the drop of a hat.

people in my office seriously think i have metal problems. Some days in the last 8 weeks i havent said a word to a soul, others, like today, i have been prancing around the office with a stupid grin on my face singing bohemian rhapsody. The other spurs fans have an inkling why but everyone else thinks im a manic depressive. Good times

Good point - not the sharpest tool in the box.

Avb will have his work cut out to improve that.

Absolutely, the good thing is, a lot of the players can play in different positions so this alone should make it easier to gel as a team.

Training must be hilarious.

New team put on the red bibs, old team blue bibs!

I'd donate now, but will have to wait until after payday as just found out someone has filtered over £700 from my bank account.
(If Arsenal sign a shiny new player, I'll know where to send the police!)

Call the police.....they just re signed flamini! ;-)
