Isn't FFP just based on the amount of cumulative loss you make over 3 years?

If so, FFP wouldn't have had an impact on us or Real this year I don't believe. Real Madrid didn't make a loss in each of the last 3 periods and therefore are free to spend as they wish (I think). We are simply spending their money in advance (or so it appears).

I may have got that wrong, I only scoured the FFP guidelines.

Isn't the Europe wide one also to do with debt?

Best simple breakdown that I have read- the original FFP is actually almost 100 pages long so it covers a lot more than just the paper headlines.

I am loving the speed at which we appear to be moving now. Eriksen only started getting real last night and could be done by tonight, plus Coentrao looking more likely. I had assumed we would have to make do a bit in certain positions but here we are going full steam ahead filling them and some. It is so sureal. I almost want it to stop as I can't take it all in, but I don't.

Especially the Bale saga, it's just incredibly fast.
