Can I just say that before he arrived I wondered if Baldini was right man for the job (mainly due to us using a committee to decide on transfers) and do you know what? I am ecstatic to say that I was totally and utterly wrong. His introduction has made our whole approach to bringing in players much slicker. Well done AVB for asking for him and Levy for getting him in.

Griezman will never win the league or cl with sociedad. If hes buying into our idea of transforming into a powerhouse for the next decade, things like winning the euro cup, or maybe even the league( if the stars align) will attract him. Coentrao and griezman in will be too jizz worthy.

The other factor with buying in all this talent is the old cliché: Steel sharpens steel.

Every day in training these guys are learning from one another and playing against each other. What better way for our creatives to learn how to make space and play between the lines when you're battling the likes of Sandro and Capoue, day in and day out.
