19 yr old fancy dan on a loan at Berltun. Not surprised he didn't rip up trees or anything.

As a squad option though, he ticks the boxes. Versatile, young. Pricey yes but after this window, I'm not arguing with those who call the shots. Typical Levy though. He's never been shy to back his man when comfy.

Just listened to the CL draw, some great games there. Hopefully the EL will be just as good match ups. Am sitting on the sofa having been knocked off my bike at lunchtime. elbow and knee nicely swollen but looking forward to the game tonight. Got given three boxes of 8 tins Speckled Hen by driver/coop manager plus lift home. Totally my fault so big hats off to the Coop. I think i'll have a head ache in the morning to go with the elbow/knee. I love my Spurs

I found three wheelers much safer ;)

I cant say i agree, i think we could spend £100m and keep Bale. A lot of money is coming into the club, with our usual war chest, plus the 50m uncle Joe added, plus the tv money and new sponsors. We also made some money from players going out. One thing i do believe is Bale is gone, but at the asking price, no less.

This time last week I would have fully supported you in this.

However the way that he has acted since then I do not want him in a Spurs shirt again.

He has always tried to emulate Ronaldo, and has now tried to replicate his arrogance. However, IIRC Ronaldo acted with far more class when he left United.

This keeps being brought up in here. I'm sure the people running the club know what they're doing.

I agree and have confidence in the decision makers at the club.

I'm just curious to figure out the plan.

Lets imagine we sign a Left Back, we can assume Rose will want out by January or sooner.

So we have to hold on to Naughton as dual cover right? When do we play him? I assume Chiriches would cover Walker for a big game.

Delighted with Lamela - though assume with this and system change we can't keep Lennon happy for long? That sale would bring us down to Townsend, suddenly we have to ensure he gets enough minutes.

Delighted with all these signings, sure AVB is smart enough to manage it - just curious to see how.

Homegrown quotas is a new problem to THFC.

We don't need any homegrown players.

Are you always looking out for mini drivers? Not Mini Driver because that would be an offence, stalking I believe. I don't think I will make it till kick off. Thank God for modern tech.

All good, I understand the rule - you need them if you want a squad of more than 17, so you would say 5 at least.

As I say, sure AVB will manage it - just interested to know what the long term plan is.

Do we believe these can hold their own alongside VERY good foreign players?

Or do we expect there will be an attrition of British players every window or two, for first team football?

The only thing that bothers me is the loan spell he had with Bolton. I hope that Service that he was getting was the reason behind his 1 goal in 17 stats.

This on first impressions bothers me too - that anybody we are looking to sign has played for Bolton (which is the biggest "town" in Europe by the way).
