Is it reality that holtby may be loaned out to accommodate eriksen? I would be absolutely gutted if this is the case? There comes a point when I don't want us to spend for the sake of spending? Holtby has bags of potential and like eriksen got good stats in a different league. (Holtby in a much stronger German league). Why would we sacrifice his progress just for eriksen?

Maybe he won't be played at the moment, and his development will be improved by going on loan.

Its a neutral rep, not a neg And yes, Eriksen is probably better than Holtby. He's reportedly rejected moves from bigger clubs because he wants to play and keep improving. He is Ajax's best player and was impressive in the CL. Competition between him and Holtby would be very beneficial for our club.

We've broken out transfer record 3 times this window so have just £30 added to the SC coffers, this has been an amazing transfer window for us and the sites been running and run superbly, keep up the sterling work Rob and the Mods.

No, he's not. He's just played more games at a decent level. I think they are pretty similar to be honest. Holtby though I suspect will end up as quite a deep lying midfielder, ball rotater type ala modric. Eventually.
Erikson plays further fwd and probably more competition for paulinho and siggy

I think the new formation suits our cms a lot more especially holtby so my point is that I'm extremely happy at adding quality but don't want to be like man city who add players if the same level (Garcia) that arent necessarily needed and stop the development of others. I have seen a lot of holtby in Germany and he used to be extremely creative which is why I wondered what else eriksen brought.
Happy to have both but don't want to lose holtby

Sky Italia reporting we've contacted Inter about Alvaro Pereira. Is he a LB? I'm sure he played for AVB at Porto. Maybe a back up option Coentroa(sp) doesn't come through.
