No he didn't

There was clear ITK that said he did. Having said that most of the other ITK also proved not to happen (or even be true?), so this probably wasn't correct either. Not having a go at yourself either - Scouts honor!

I do remember getting my balls chewed a little for daring to doubt a certain person's ITK (not yours). Oh well........

I would say so. It doesn't make Levy sense to spend 25m on Moutinho, to end up with Moutinho, Dembele, Sandro, Parker and Sigurdsson for central positions in the summer.

I would think if we can get Holtby in for 1m we will do it at the expense of signing Moutinho. It would make Levy sense as it would be spending less and getting less quality.
Who says we're going to have Parker? Unfortunately I think he could be offski at some point. DL will want to get max cash for him whilst he still can.

JJs latest update on twitter is that the relationship between DL and AVB is Fractious at best.
Suggests that there has been a few problems.

I'm not too happy about transfers being done by committee especially when it's only going to be AVB that suffers if they don't work out.
The things us though managers come and go, there needs to be an approach to transfers that reflects a longer term plan, I want AVB to succeed more than anything and am extremely pleased with the club, but if all falls on it's face most or at least the core of players that are in will remain

AVB threw his toys out of the pram a little last window when he didn't get his targets.

You should at least reference that you don't know this first hand, merely that it was suggested by JJ. Stating any ITK opinion as definitive fact is not a great idea IMO and you've done it a couple of times now.
No beef, just saying!

why are we in for Younes Belhanda ??????? so many frickin midfielders , we might start playing the Barca way no strikers and just attacking midfielders all over the park.......

We aren't in for Younes Belhanda. Atleast... we weren't the last I knew.

He also said some months ago that there were problems between the players and AVB. Subsequent results have thrown doubt on that being correct.

So, I take it that Archibald is saying that Holtby is going to turn up this month, probably for a small fee then.
Good stuff. I hate having a player that we have to wait half a season before seeing him in our colours!

Is this Archibald one half of our own A&C? Our own resident ITK?:)

I'm not really sure what JJ's agenda is with posting this information, but given our current league position i can't see why this would be the case other than in regards to transfers.

DL is no mug and to be pissing off our new manager who has frankly worked a small miracle to get us where we are in the league right now would be an insane thing to do.

I would imagine if this is the case it must be down to frustration with AVB not being able to get in the player(s) that he wants (i.e. Willian and Moutinho).

So can any of the ITKs confirm once and for all if AVB's toys are inside or outside of the pram? If it's the later, then was he aiming the toys at anyone in particular or just scattering them randomly across the transfer committee room? And is it as simple as picking up the old toys and putting them back in the pram or do we have to buy him new ones?
Thanks.

It's better in the sense that players are brought for the club, as opposed to the manager.
The manager/coach gets his say, just not the final say.
It's trying to create more stability and continuity...and more money.
The managers say is the most important, it's his job on the line. If he wants a player then Levy should do everything in his power to get that player, not bring in a player he wants. If Levy wants to be manager then he should be manager.

Harry, for example, was trying his best to fill us up with older players that he knew. Then, the manager goes and we're stuck with these players who have little sell on value.
Levy let him have his own way sometimes but if it was all down to the manager, we'd now be stuck with Joe Cole, Bellamy, and countless others who we'd be needing to replace.
Most managers look to the short term but luckily for us, our chairman always has one eye on the future.

Joe Cole was Lille's best player last season, Bellamy is also a good player. I don't think it was a case of Harry wanting to fill us up with older players anyway, he wanted a couple of world class/top class players but the money was not made available to him.
