Maybe Baldini is meeting Tim so he can find out about our youngsters. No point bringing in foreign youngsters if ours are good enough. Not strictly Tim's jurisdiction but I'm sure he's informed in that area. Also Roma not being happy with his signings could see some follow him out the door. I would say Osvaldo but it looks like he's caused Franco a lot of trouble so maybe not...

Yep. I'm also told that he reads tealeaves for tips. I can't reveal my source (let's just say 'PG tips')

Bumped into my Rock Solid
connection yesterday. Apparently DL confident of getting everyone in that we're after. He added "everyone we're capable of getting in" meaning within our reach and budget. No names I'm afraid so queue the flack about it being useless info and who is this rock solid connection anyway etc etc. LOL Just telling those that might be interested, that's all. Was talking about biz most of the time and if he's had names he would have told me, so obviously DL didn't divulge.

Surely to be expected? He's worked with Sherwood far longer, he's in a much more senior position than our Head Coach and presumably had more chances to prove himself more to DL.

Has everyone surprised by this forgotten that AVB is just a Head Coach. We don't have a manager. Or do I have to do *that* post again..? (please say not).

If Baldini is to come in then I'd actually be concerned if he hadn't met up with Sherwood (levy & AVB) before he signed on the dotted line.

What if he didn't share their ideas, targets etc. plus baldini probably wants to get as much info about the club as possible in terms of youngsters etc and sherwood would be the best person to liaise with him.

I'm sure he will have meetings in to see avb as well to talk about certain things.

Spurs have a good squad. with all the managerial changes at the top clubs we only need a few world class additions to put us in the top three this season I reckon. If there was ever a right time to spend more than we usually do, this season would be it.
