If POTL says he is going to (make a statement) then I am sure he will. I can't believe it will be reasons why we have sold him unless it is after the window has closed. If it is imminent, I can see it being a 'he's not for sale and he is under contract', anything else would have an impact on our purchases and future dealings.

Levy just does not make statements that is what he has AVB and Baldini for. If he does it will be after events and give some finality to matters

I'd be more than happy to allow Bale to go if we have Willian and Lamela signing, don't see why people are so down on Defoe, think he did well against palace when he came on, ok he should have killed the game off but in fairness to the lad the chance he missed he created out of nothing himself and i think he would only do better playing off the bench when he has more creative players like Willian and Lamela around him, still think we need at least one more defensive player if not 2.
