Dembele? Our model is built to buy low and sell high, but at the higher end of the transfer market.
I'd imagine we would be looking to spend 12-16m on a replacement

Dembele?
time for everyone to have a hug i think and remember we are all Spurs fans here..............the greatest type of fan there is !!
Id happily have Dembele. Class player.Dembele?
I reckon we have a master plan:
We will all wake up one morning and several things will happen, Modric will join Madrid, Adebayor will sign, Verts will sign, new manager will come in and we get rid of a few deadwood like Saha. Sky Sports struggle to report on everything and they end up giving us our own channel, generating more income.
Then JJ will be the host of the channel, keeping us all informed 24/7!
Where do I sign up?
WTF!...I'm not!
...I'm not!
Www.spurscommunity.co.uk/itshere/noreally/imnotwindingyouupCan someone please gimme the link for today's itk thread..?
I fail to see how we cannot already have a decent transfer kitty to spend, given the sales we have made recently, and the lack of real investment.
I’m not criticising the way levy has run things at all, I think he has cleared the decks whilst refusing to commit serious funds due to the uncertainty over Redknapp’s future, with first the court case, then the speculation linking him with the England job, initially once Cappello’s contract ended this summer. But looking at the last twelve months alone, we have sold -
- Corluka?
- Kranjcar
- Pavlyuchenko
- Palacios
- Hutton
- Crouch
- Keane
- O’Hara
Raising, I would guess, between £40-50m?
Our cash purchases have been limted to -
- Parker
- Falque
Plus a handful of free transfers and loans. Not sure if or what we paid for Couilbaily, but the combined outlay has to be comfortably less then £10m.
I understand we have to take into account the amount of wages we pay as part of our budget, but look what we have cleared off the budget too, and with the deadwood cleared we now have room to move in our 25. I would suggest there may yet be further departures too, Bassong? And Dos Santos?
Now throw in the fact Modric is being strongly linked with a move, rumours are gathering pace daily of a big money move to Madrid.
