Disappointed about Gallagher but Hjojberg can do a job in there even if he isn’t ideal.

Considering he limped off the last game my greatest concern is who covers VDV. Sanchez cannot function on the left even to the point of just not falling over, Dier is either gone or way too slow, so that leaves Davies?
Exactly that. He did that exact job against Bournemouth 👍

Our Ins have been good to be fair but that’s countered by the fact we’ve sold our Arguably greatest ever player. A decent CB cover would make this window adequate imo, without one we are one injury away from being in trouble.

Look, we all know how transfer windows pan out so this cannot be a surprise. IF IT'S TRUE and I admit previous means it very likely is.

But right now, instead of acting like a gaggle of angry kids, can you not wait until the window closes before filling this thread with the same tired shit about Levy. In fact, given how your constant need to make this thread about him has resulted in my having epic hissyfits, i'm surprised some of you are even taking the chance.

Fucks sake. Wait. It's not long to go now, just fucking wait. When the window closes, have at it then. Jeeez

Right. Take the extra 4 hrs of dopamine while you can get it.

The "joined up thinking" only works if you commit to it and follow it through. Otherwise it's just another theory that is never proven.

Looks like we’re done doesn’t it?

We’re a CB short and it’s a real shame the likes of Dier, PEH and Lloris are still here. Need a fresh start.

But it’s hardly the ‘disgrace’ some people are referring to.

It’s the CB issue that I think is the biggest problem.
Maddison, VDV, Vicario are great signings. Brennan was the one Ange wanted, Solomon opportunistic.

Yes we struggled getting players out the door but honestly there are other windows open and let’s see what happens when players aren’t included in the squad.

Yes we should’ve got another CB but honestly I think keeping Sanchez with one year left over a desperation buy that could haunt us for years is probably the right move.

Hoj for Gallagher was always going to be hard to pull off.

Kane gone, extremely sad but we knew it was going to happen.

A few hours left; maybe something will turn up. I doubt anyone but the inner circle know.

Johnson isn't an issue here.

Rumour appears to be that there's a centre back also at the training ground doing medical etc., but we're still haggling on the deal. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Surely the price would have been agreed otherwise his club don't give him permission to travel, If the deal is then being altered its incredibly small time and in bad taste.

No deadwood moved on. Our star striker gone and the goals not replaced. One injury away from davinson sanchez starting in defence.

This might be Daniel Levy’s worst window of all time. How anyone is deluding themselves that this is in any way a positive window I’ll never know

Christ I've read some horseshit today but this is one takes it. Maddison, Vicario, VDV are all HUGE upgrades on what went before - all signed this window. I'm pissed off we've lost Kane and not got a big name replacement, and yes another CB would have been ideal but the fucking melodrama in this thread is unbearable.

More than happy to keep Sanchez over a late potential panic buy.

He suits a high line and with some confidence and regular game time I think he will do great as a back up for VDV. Probably not any better out there for the same price we could sell him for.

A new dawn begins! COYS!!
Edit: we still should have signed another CB. I feel we are way too short there, especially as H88 said Diers contract could be terminated.
