He's a kid mate and he isn't ready.
Absolutely but needs must and in that worst case scenario I'd still sooner throw him in than rely on the other two, maybe that's just me. Sanchez is the only backup CB i trust in this system.

So with the possibility of this being high grade copium, I'd say I'm reasonably happy with the transfer window. Sure we didn't secure all our targets or offload the ones we didn't want, but I'm excited for the season ahead. We have a manager that have turned around the general mood. Probably about 1 season before it was due. Especially if your compare it against the general trudgery the last 4 years.

Most of our recent recuitments looks solid, and is a foundation to build on. The thought of being world class or challenging for honours in an instant got us into all this pain in the first place. I think the general consensus when Ange came in was to give it time. So i shall, and therefore I'm patient.

Thanks for all the ITK this window. It probably made me waste my low pool of attention on trivial stuff in the eyes of some. But then again Tottenham has given me my highest highs and my lowest lows, and probably will for the forseeable future. I love this mad house of a club, and this mad house supporter base.

I'm getting excited again, watching every touch of the ball from the edge of my sofa. Grinning, holding my breath, shouting and feeling the emotional rollercoaster that is Spurs. Something that went missing for far too long. Looking forward to share this ride with you lot!

People do really have short memories. Its almost as if Sanchez is being revered here ?
Every one here wants Sanchez sold -why ? Because he has been part of the calamitous defending

I dont care how many disagree with me on this.
If Sanchez is sold and not replaced...I am ok with it.
I would rather try Emerson as CB or give chance to Phillips, Dorrington and hope we replace him in Jan.

If that is the case why isn’t Ange using this already. He has clearly decided Dier isn’t good enough and that Sanchez is the best back up we have. Gambling with the backline hoping Dorrington can mature lighting quick is not the workings of a top team. If they are brought it it should be due to them being ready not due to Levy making a quick buck.

Reject a bid of 9m for Sanchez. A week to replace.

A week later try to sell him but only have minutes to replace him.

That sums up this ownership.

They just see numbers and not the value of time when it comes to coach knowing what he is working with etc

From what I understand we've set a price, if PSV hit it he can go.

I'm hoping common sense prevails and Levy calls it off or he pulls a rabbit out of the hat. I'm not holding my breath though.
I thought they were signing Bella kotchap?

Looking at this objectively, I would be happy to let Sanchez go on a perm if it get's him off the books. Reasons:

1. I don't rate Sanchez much higher as a CB than Davies.
2. We've got nothing but league games until Jan, so there's shouldn't be much need for rotation except in case of injury.
3. It's about time we got rid of someone.

Romero has had 7 injuries in 2 years for a total of 158 days out... by all means lets just chance it..

Since 2017 we have only signed 2 permanent centre backs. Granted Toby and Jan were still playing then but this dearth of options at the back has hardly crept up on us.
We've signed two CBs on permanent deals this summer (VDV & Phillips). Are you forgetting about them or Romero & Rodon? 🤷‍♂️
