Dav and Dier are adults, and they still aren't readyHe's a kid mate and he isn't ready.
Absolutely but needs must and in that worst case scenario I'd still sooner throw him in than rely on the other two, maybe that's just me. Sanchez is the only backup CB i trust in this system. He's a kid mate and he isn't ready.
I’ve been trying to work out who the fuck Williams is. Been sat here like Uncle Albert asking “who’s Rachel?”And his name is Phillips
At this point, I'm slightly guttedSigned for Villa!

People do really have short memories. Its almost as if Sanchez is being revered here ?
Every one here wants Sanchez sold -why ? Because he has been part of the calamitous defending
I dont care how many disagree with me on this.
If Sanchez is sold and not replaced...I am ok with it.
I would rather try Emerson as CB or give chance to Phillips, Dorrington and hope we replace him in Jan.
Always do when there’s fuck all else happening. Spurs deadline day playbook.Eeking out this Johnson announcement eh?
I thought they were signing Bella kotchap? From what I understand we've set a price, if PSV hit it he can go.
I'm hoping common sense prevails and Levy calls it off or he pulls a rabbit out of the hat. I'm not holding my breath though.
Fucking hell I keep doing that, I instantly think of the Swansea bloke. And his name is Phillips
If that is the case why isn’t Ange using this already. He has clearly decided Dier isn’t good enough and that Sanchez is the best back up we have. Gambling with the backline hoping Dorrington can mature lighting quick is not the workings of a top team. If they are brought it it should be due to them being ready not due to Levy making a quick buck.
He’s a total liability did you not see the way he got twist and turned for Fulham’s goal .Dav is my fave back up. Feel his confidence has increased with a positivist approach from Ange
Were still talking as of an hour ago.I thought they were signing Bella kotchap?
Looking at this objectively, I would be happy to let Sanchez go on a perm if it get's him off the books. Reasons:
1. I don't rate Sanchez much higher as a CB than Davies.
2. We've got nothing but league games until Jan, so there's shouldn't be much need for rotation except in case of injury.
3. It's about time we got rid of someone.
We've signed two CBs on permanent deals this summer (VDV & Phillips). Are you forgetting about them or Romero & Rodon?Since 2017 we have only signed 2 permanent centre backs. Granted Toby and Jan were still playing then but this dearth of options at the back has hardly crept up on us.
It was a wind up I'm as disappointed as youWe played a completely different style and system last season.
