I said I hoped he'd be less cagey them and try and be a bit more pally but they didn't show that bit, I also said to expect an announcement next week and in and they cut that bit too but then in ian boltons report he said avb could be appointed as early as next week according to his sources. This press conference thing reminds me of a story from my late Spurs friend Tony Fuller. When Ardiles and Villa were just newly arrived after the World Cup no one had actually got to interview them. My mate decides to send a fax in Spanish asking for one to the Spurs office addressed to the boys. Of course no one in there could read Spanish so they just passed it on to Ardiles. He actually rang them! Changed times eh
