what was the first goal you ever saw scored by Spurs? (that you can consciously remember)

Mine was from the season before I was old enough to actually go watch Spurs, my Granddad showed it to me on an old Betamax tape the morning before we went to actually watch Spurs play for my very first time (boxing day 87)

It was from Hoddle's last game and it was a real work of art

I had to wait a little longer to see my first goal live as the game we went to ended 0-0

Lineker's hat trick vs Norwich on TV (1990?)

Live at WHL - Chris Perry vs Zimbru Chisinau (1999)
Live away - Ginola vs Leicester at Filbert Street when Stewart Houston didn't bother subbing him as Bungmaster Graham always did on the road

AngerManagement, that's one of the first Spurs goals I remember too.

First WHL goal - Teddy Sheringham penalty v Oldham in 1993. 4-1, boring first half, 4 quick Spurs goals then one consolation goal in injury time.
First away goal - Teddy again, Wimbledon in 1994. 2-1.

Klinsmann header against a team in red and white stripes. Could have been sunderland. One of their players was sent off for a handball on the line too.

greaves on some re run show bout the 66 world cup, ran round about 5 players, went back and did it again then went round the keeper and scored. Didn't give shit about football till I saw that, afterwards stuck with Spurs for life.

1968 Jimmy Greaves Loftus Road 1-1 draw. He handled it slightly in a challenge (with Divid webb I think) before tucking it away. We played in blue shirts and white shorts that day.

I was 10 in 1948 and my first match versus Middlesborough hazy recollection of the Duqu putting one away from circa 15 yards

I had a video tape of the '20 greatest goals' or something like that, when I was about 9 years old and not really into football. I remember seeing a Jimmy Greaves goal, and Hoddle's chipped goal against United (I think), so technically those were the first.

The earliest one I can clearly remember after I'd started supporting Spurs would have been Gazza's goal against Arsenal...being eleven years old and leapign aroudn the room like it was the greatest thing I'd ever seen. To be fair, it may well have been.

At some point after he scores against Oxford you can clearly hear someone in the crowd shout "brilliant". That was my Dad! He scored it right in front of us, magic.

This is a really hard question to answer. I definitely remember the Tommy Hutchison goals in the Final (I was 8), but I went to games when we were in the second division, and definitely saw goals before the Final. I have a vague feeling that I saw either a John Pratt or a Peter Taylor goal really early on. Definitely remember the Exeter Cup match in the run-up to the 81 final though.

God, but I loved that team. Always played with my shirt out and socks rolled down a la Hoddle and Archibald.

My first goal was against Man U in 1965. We won 5-1. The first goal was a Gilzean header, I also remember Greavsie scored a belter. I was 8 and the other thing that stands out most for me was seeing Georgie Best. My dad who came from Belfast was a huge fan of his as well.

I still have my Jimmy Greaves rosette and the scarf my Mum knitted me for the occasion.
