My personal opinion. Should be a 2 shot penalty for wearing a hoody.

I thought he thoroughly deserved the victory. Stuck to his gameplan and held the nerves at bay. Good win.

Must be so frustrating to be as consistent as Rory has been in the majors for the last 2 years without winning. 7 top 10s i believe and a number of times 2nd.

You get the feeling if he got one, ideally the Masters, the floodgates would open. He's still only 34.

Problem is there are at least five players just as or even more consistent than Rory in the last ten years in major championships.
Doesn’t mean I don’t want him to win another one.

True, but he's had the most top 10s in majors since 2015 out of any of those others as well, just not gotten across the line.

He's not had much luck either like last year at The Open or this year at the US Open just constantly right on the edge of the hole a lot.

I expect him to see the season out well and wouldn't be shocked if he won the FedEx again either and hopegully leads Europe to the Ryder Cup.

Just finished a weeks work on the Open doing RF camera ( it’s one of the cameras that follows a group, does the tee shots, does the back shots on the fairway and low shots at the side of the greens ), and I just have to say that crowd were utterly disgusting all week. Horrific chat towards Harman, same to me and other camera men when doing the back shots from the rough amongst the crowd and particularly to a fellow female camera person in that instance. Glad Harman won. Fuck scousers ( I should add that outside of the muppets many were incredibly friendly, it’s just the muppets were SO BAD ! ) . Last day weather was awful from our point of view

Never been more fuming walking off the course than I am today. Best I've played for 3 years but for 3 melt down holes.

Fuck this game.

Home advantage hopefully evens it up but bloody hell the yanks looks strong again - and they left out Bryson for team harmony, which doesn’t help us!!
Had the same sort of conversation with my dad yesterday but he made the point that we(he and I) watch so little of the DP Tour compared to years ago compared to what we watch of the PGA Tour these days, its hard to know sometimes who the best Europeans are these days. But we've got a great mix of experience and younger players.

I also think Johnson has picked some players on a reputation basis rather than form, JT has been awful for months. Left Glover and Bradley out. Spieth hasn't been great either

But this competition does things to all these guys that just makes them play better.
