We are looking for outside investment

club is at an impasse , joe does not want to invest , Daniel does not want to sell but penny has finally dropped that we cannot carry on in this non competitive cycle of not winning anything and the current squad is a long way off

Daniel respects fab and conte opinion and the penny has finally dropped

I do not know the finer details but there will likely be a small amount of shares Sold or some other structure so money is brought it

We are going to try and make some signings this window

Tanguy , dele , doc and rodon are all available For sale , wolves have some interest In doc

Brighton wanted 50 for lamptey so not happening , we are interested in traore and the Florentina striker

a big priority the second half of the season Is breaking John and Devine who’s currently injured into team they are the clubs future

regarding the bergwin rumors just breaking , he is also for sale , ajax wanted in summer but we wanted 30 million and they just do not have the money but if someone pays up he can go '
I’m not sure what is news here.

ENIC has never put money into the club (see chart below from Swiss Ramble. Moreover, in the unlikely event of Joe Lewis being willing to put in more funds, Levy would object because he could not afford to put in matching funds and won’t want his shareholding to be diluted.

It’s also not news that at some point ENIC will want to sell out. A huge proportion of Levy’s wealth is tied up in Spurs, he’s not getting any younger and at some point he’ll want to take his money out, set up his family and retire.

Is promising! Stuff known, but cannot be shared, even in hints here!

We all know that we want to improve the first team. ITK has suggested ~6 new players in the next two windows. And FFP rules dictate that we can spend up to £400M on new players should we want to based on the last three years accounts. The real question is how do we fund purchases of multiple elite players? Whilst we have close to £200M in the bank, we are also close to £1Billion in debt.

A. We could opt to only target free transfers (Kessie, Brozovic, Romagnoli etc.), but that does not solve all of our problems, especially up front.
B. We could sell players to generate funds, but we'd do well to get significantly big fees for our surplus players Tanganga, Doherty., Bergwijn, Ndombele and Dele.
C. We could generate funds from a new stadium naming rights deal, but the mooted £20M per season would not fund the signing of several elite players, although it would help cover the increased wage bill for the foreseeable future..
D. We could generate funds from issuing more stock, and investing that in the first team. I'm assuming that Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy would look to other investors to put money in rather than invest more of their own wealth.

I actually suspect it will be a combination of all 4 approaches, but to allow us to sign players like Vlahovic (assuming £70M fee, plus significant agent fees, plus £300k+ per week for 5 years) we will need additional funds coming into the club. I wonder if Forrest Li is investing after all?

Well if Conte was promised money before he signed, the "investment" or "talks" must have already taken place or there is no money without sales.
Spurs being the only club in the league not getting any backing from owners, will bite us in the arse now that every other club are investing and we do not get any good european tv money in.
So lets hope the talks have already been done and "signed" or Conte will have to start a magic trick to get something for Ndomboobs and Dele

There's lots of varied info now, especially regarding investment and what not I think it's best to simply wait and see rather than react in any direction.

Traore sounds likely, Vlahovic by almost all accounts has a pin in it until the summer and it's best to sit back and see what else happens.

"Ndomboobs"?
That actually made me laugh because of what an absolutely fucking terrible nickname it is!

I think the bottom line is...that if there is a fall out over investment between Conte and the Club (not saying there will be) goal posts will have undoubtedly been moved (again)...and maybe the 'penny dropping' will be more with the fans...

Dragons info sounds familiar. Not only basend on his snippet I feel there wont be much business in the winter:

- difficult
- price not met
- better value in summer
- can not offload our players

Prove me wrong Spurs, please

I’m of the ilk that I only take on board SC in-house ITK, and ValenciaYid; plus a few Italiano folk. Saves me a lot of false dawns
