Aye, would be interesting to see a few of the goals. Especially Lennon's header, which I'm still convinced was kicked towards him, and he got in the way of a Keano bicycle-kick, causing him to flinch and move his head in the general direction of the ball, resulting in a goal, and 4 very embarrassed defenders.

What they dont show is the 3 keepers lined up in goals with Dos Santos smashing tennis balls at them to save :lol: that would get them to save shots easyer when they go to full sized footballs!! :lol:

Intensity was the key word at our Spanish training camp on Monday - not least the weather!

The first of three training sessions kicked-off with tough morning sprints at the golf course at 815am local time. These were sprints of varying distances but all involving running up hills.


With temperatures again tipping 30 degrees, the mid-morning session was in the gym and after lunch, the evening session was back to football at high pace.


The squad was split into two initially with Juande Ramos taking tactical work and Gus Poyet overlooking a one and two-touch possession exercise. The session finished with a game over a three-quarter pitch.

Meanwhile, numerous operations on Ledley Kings Knees has reduced his left leg to the size of a small infants.

Still, no strapping! :clap:

Some info from #1 Spurs over on COYS

OK, couple more things.

My old man has watched 'em train since he's been out there (Friday).

Says Bale was ice-packed up today. Hutton sat and watched. Keane and Berbatov played full part. Andros Townsend again played left back (in my previous post he said we were trying to convert him to full back).

Says that Two Saints looks very strong. Not slight at all, not barged off the ball easy. Nothing but praise for GDS and Luka too, said they looked awesome tonight.

He has a word with John Bostock yesterday. Bostock was only meant to be out there for a week but we asked him to stay on and he was chuffed to bits. But he's mainly been played left wing. Played LW in yesterdays match and training sessions too. Bostock says he can do a job out there but he's a centre forward really. But he's really down to earth. Give him two months with Lennon and his head will be in the skies no doubt.

But, also mentioned some downers. Said that Adel has looked very poor, that Pekhart seems very uncomfortable in everything he tries and that Gomes has looked poor in training and games.
