If so, he’ll have to radically alter the way that Burnley play as the rest of the squad aren’t gonna be used to tika-taka football.

Which May of course have been the whole reason to appoint him.
Burnley have released 12 players so that might not be that much of an issue. The question will be can he emulate what Vieira has done with Palace and get the new team to gel quickly enough

Fair play to him. He did a great job and with no sign it’s going to improve any time soon then it’s a good time to move on.

be interesting to see if he gets a job where the expectation is a little higher.

He's done enough to get a midtable Championship job at least. He might have to wait until a Championship club sacks their manager before getting a new job though, I don't think there are any vacancies going now.

Michael O'Neill fired at Stoke.

Managerial sackings in August are always an odd one. The Stoke chairman said, "we feel the time is right to move in a different direction". Surely the right time was a few weeks ago before the season started? The new manager is going to have at most 6 days of the transfer window to get in the players he wants. Sacking a manager less than a month into the season is a serious failing on the part of the chairman.

Chairmen and Boards are never accountable for their mistakes. Always blame and sack the Manager.

Manager to Owner~ I want XYZ.
Owner doesn't like it.
Manager fired and the next one in before owner has to dip into his/her picket.
Been going on for years

Losing nine nil is obviously a terrible result, but it's far too early for this. And they've played three of the strongest teams in the league in their first four games. There's no way he should be judged for results against those sides.

Bournemouth have no class. Hope they get relegated with lowest points ever. Look at the money Forest have spent in comparison with the Cherries. Disgraceful ownership.

Doesn't surprise me sadly. I always felt with Dyche being available clubs who are going to be in the relegation battle may be trigger happy.

Would be surprised if he goes to Bournemouth though, think he will wait and take a higher profile job. Feel for Parker, never nice to see a manager sacked so early, especially after the run of fixtures he had to start the season.

Losing to the current table toppers and away fixtures to last year’s two title contenders not good enough for newly promoted Bournemouth despite beating Villa on day one. £24m of transfer investment… must be expecting a lot ?

It doesn’t matter who takes over at Bournemouth - it’s a team full of Chanpionship players (and Parker knew it!). Like West Brom and Norwich before them, they’re just making up the numbers.

To get them promoted in the first place, with the team they had, should have given Parker at least half of the season - Dyche wouldn't suit them either as Bournemouth don't have the players to support his style of football
