Right then, before I go and hide in "Chat" for the next week I thought I may as well start to look ahead already. Next up we Have City away followed by United at home. Does anyone think we will get anything from these two matches. Does anyone think AVB might learn from recent mistakes and change things slightly?

Personally I would rather we had City at home and United away as I think United are vulnerable at the moment but we are playing better away from home. Either way I can't see us getting any points from City.

One point at home against the red half

Needed to win today, no doubt about it. These two games and the fixture congestion in December could well see us cut adrift

0 points. No knee jerk, even if we'd won 11 games in a row i'm still always dubious about our ability to get anything from Manchester

I look forward to these a fuck load more than Hull/Newcastle at home games.

I'm sure we will play much better and call me whatever, but I can see us not getting beaten in both.

Hate these negative threads as it offers no informative discussion base.

Yet we managed to do the double on United last season.

I reckon we'll get 2 points.

Probably lose both which will put us in an awful position. I'd be very surprised if we're even close to the top 4 after the next 2 games.

hence the "i'm still always dubious". And i'm pretty sure we didn't beat united twice last season, a win early on and then a draw wasn't it?

And wouldn't that make it about 2 out of 28 attempts in the league or something?

My dubiousness is looking well validated to be fair.

I stand corrected. You are right, we didn't beat them twice. Got 4 points off them and 3 off City last year. Still, good going.

I just don't know. You never know who's gonna be on the pitch week to week. Just seems random at the moment.

Rose & Lloris should return, Lamela, Kaboul & a DM should be in. I see no reason why we can't give a good account of ourselves if the right adjustments are made.
