Wigan beat us.

The boos and comments were aimed at Defoe for walking off slowly, chucking his million pound toys out of pram and all.

A sense of urgency was needed, Defoe strutting slowly across the pitch, then down the tunnel caused the frustration.

Sell him.

Sorry, but totally wrong

The boos were clearly aimed at AVBs baffling decision to replace Defoe.

Defoe might not have been having a great game (who was) but to take off your leading goal scorer when 1-0 down at home was a bad decision by AVB.

Well i think you're wrong and I think most of the boos and shouts (including shouts referencing AVB) were aimed at the manager. I'm either going deaf or you're in denial!

Not at all. We were just judging his moody body language when AVB made the decision when we were losing at home.

Ferguson makes a change and it is quick 'high 5s', on with the game.

Well you must have been the only ones thinking it was his body language, judging from the rather colourful language being aimed at AVB.

Replacing him with a striker

I'm not passing judgement on the reasons for their abuse, I'm just telling you what I heard. As it is though I would have taken off Dempsey and put on Ade. Not sure I agree with the Carroll sub either, but that doesn't excuse the abuse given to AVB. Even if it did smack of Hoddle and his refusal to change a system/formation when he didn't have the players for it (ahh the memories of playing 3-5-2 without either Ziege and Carr).

pathetic sweaty camel ****S, go support Man Shitty if you want instant success.

I did see a note on the back of some mints in the shop today that said something like "every penny spent on Spurs merchandise directly helps the club achieve success". I wonder how many mints we have to buy before that's the case though and is that statement legally binding? I suppose Levy could argue that it depends how you quantify success.

The boos were definitely aimed at AVB... And while I can't agree with the booing, I thought the decision was strange.

True, defoe did 4/5ths of fuck all during the game, but which of our offensive players contributed anything today? Ade should have started, no doubt, but if you can't have two strikers on the pitch and go for it when your losing at home to Wigan, when can you?

The booing was incredibly embarrassing. The problem now is that the players will be scared to express themselves, and it now gives the players who have issues with AVB the encouragement to start causing trouble. AVB himself has a big job in convincing the players that they must believe in his principles. And it's given the media the opportunity to attack AVB and use the mindless booing we heard as evidence that AVB has lost the fans and the dressing room. It's all building up to an unsavoury ending. The fans need back off a little and give the team OUR team space to grow.

I am not sure what you mean.
Lets put it this way;

1) AVB has been handed a team that has been ripped apart.

2) The squad as been allowed to rot over the years as it has more or less always been about the starting 11 and not the squad, as such, no depth or balance to the squad what-so-fucking-ever.

3) We have had an injury list since the start of season including all the major players who are part of the clubs back bone.

4) Apart from Lloris, Dembele, Vertonghen, those players we have brought in are simply not good enough..... Yet, if ever, and to replace the likes of VDV and Modric too.

5) The manager and club have been slaughtered in the papers, which a lot of fans read and believing the shit.

6) The manager was treated like shite at his former club, because he was asked to make the changes need and then was shat on by the owner, the players, the fans and the papers. This is why he is taking it slowly.

7) Spurs do not have the money and spend £100 million every year on players and pay £200,000 a week in wages each.

8) We are currently sitting in 5th after the cluster fuck of mess that AVB has inherited.

Anyone else want to add the list of problems that AVB has inherited?

Seriously, it will take an awful lot of time to sort this shite out, but those fans who are booing have absolutely no idea at all. They have one season of CL football and all of a sudden, we are expected to urn over every fucking team with out trying.

Fuck, what the fans are doing to AVB is nothing but abhorrent and disgraceful and I am ashamed to be associated with these fans. It takes time to build, it needs patience and IF THE FANS CAN'T GET IT INTO THEIR DUMBASS FUCKING BRAINS ALL OF THE ABOVE AND MORE AND GET BEHIND AVB AND GIVE HIM THE TIME HE NEEDS TO SORT THIS SHIT OUT, AVB WILL HAVE A CHANCE AND HE WILL GET THERE. IF NOT AND THEY WANT INSTANT SUCCESS AND THE GREATEST FOOTBALL EVER AFTER THE DAMAGE WE HAVE HAD TO OUR SQUAD, THEN THEY SHOULD ALL GO AND SUPPORT MAN SHITTY WHO CAN GO OUT BUY THE PLAYERS THE FANS WANT OUT OF THEIR PETTY CASH BOX.

FUCK OFF, BOOING AT AVB IS WAY OUT OF FUCKING ORDER LESS THAT 3 MONTHS IN TO THE START OF THE SEASON ESPECIALLY AFTER THE MOUNTAIN LOAD OF SHIT HE HAS BEEN GIVEN.

I think it's a little early to throw in the towel & jump on AVB & the players backs its not going to help & is only going to exacerbate the problem. Yes if anyone deserves some stick its our fine leader, for our failings in the t market, we can't expect to keep up with the big boys if we don't speculate to accumulate (within reason of course).

However AVB has to show he is learning too, Hugo & Ade must get a run out & he has to motivate the players to perform against all opposition not just the glamour/ big teams. COYS
