"It would be fantastic to have the chance to [rest for three week] but I don’t know what the England national team or the manager is going to do, what decision he is going to take," he said.

"But we are going to assess tomorrow and then I think we can talk Saturday. We haven't spoken yet. The medical staff yes today is coming from England. Of course we are going to talk about all the English players' potential call ups."

Are we finally starting to dictate things?

Kane will obviously go but we can maybe enforce our other players stay behind. They have all had recent issues. 3 week break would be great for both us and England

Or the more likely each one of our Engkand internationals have just come back from injury/illness and we don't want to risk them. I think it's just us putting the players' health and fitness first.

Losses to Burnley and Southampton. Yeah, Poch isnt cut out to be a true winner. I dont think hes a successful manager at the highest level.

"Players change games"

Yes but managers change the players....I'm weary of hearing Poch trying to excuse such performances. New ground and a new manager please before we have a total star player revolt with Kane, Ali, Son and Eriksen all looking elsewhere. I know we still have Champions League match on the horizon but after that ??????

I don't like his loser talk of us needing 5-10 years to compete and that we've delivered result above our level. This team is made in his image, think the weak sides of it as well.

We’ve failed at the last hurdle on so many different occasions. A cup final, multiple semi finals, title races...

Pochettino needs to look at himself. He has a loser’s mentality and it runs through his squad like water.

I’ve said countless times that we’ve reached our ceiling with Poch, and now we’re on the decline.

I reckon he will go if we finish outside top 4

He will stay because it suits both him and Levy...Daniel says "stay as manager but just don't ask for money or players and we will get on just fine...keep feeding them the 'few more years' shit and hopefully they'll eat it a few more seasons".
Alternative is Real Madrid, as I said in an earlier post, offer Levy megabucks for Poch and a player or players.

This feels a lot like the falling action in the story of Poch at Spurs. Everything has just felt different for awhile, in my opinion. That same positive feel that ran through the club has taken a huge blow. I actually don't think it all has to do with Poch. It's the huge botch job in the move from WHL to our new stadium, the transfer windows with no spending and then the abject performances by a squad that is too thin to compete across multiple competitions and looks like they are complacent. I really hope we can rebound and Poch sees that there is still a mission here that he wants to be part of, but part of me thinks we're just on a path now that'll see him leave the club sooner rather than later.
