I haven't looked forward to a match as much as Villa in ages. It's close, against our rivals, with our squad now fully assembled, having shown both good and bad form already. A real test, but I believe we have better players than them in the large majority of positions, and we are at home. Hopefully the crowd is really up for it, because we could make the difference in a match where we need to start exploring our full potential.

If you're comparing player for player, then yes, they're certainly stronger in attack. However, they don't own the attack minded players that we do deeper in to their squad.

How can you say Agbonlahor is "MUCH MUCH better then Bent"? Has Agbonlahor ever scored over 20 goals in a season? Bent is going through a difficult period, don't forget he has been prolific in this league. We just have not played the kind of football that suits his strengths.

Thats the problem. Spurs will not change the way they play football just to accomadate Bent. If Bent wants to play and score goals, he needs to adjust to the way SPURS play. I dont think he can, Bent imo only knows one way to play, and thats off the last defender, with the players behind him putting him through on goal with balls through the middle and over the top for him to run onto.

If a defense plays deep and also allows no space behind them, it also becomes a large problem for Bent, he is a limited striker with a great ability in what he does, but we will never see the best of him in our system.

I think Bent could benefit from Pav. Most of us know Pav's good in the air, and we all know that Bent's brilliant when he has a ball to chase, it's just getting 1 and 1 to equal 2.
