Amazing all the other big clubs dont seem to have this issue.
If you offer a decent offer they sell. If you take the piss like we do then they wait for a better offer.
Or you just don't follow every news for other big clubs then? Chelsea offered 90m for Gvardiol, Leipzig didn't sell. Day after transfer window ended he extended his contract. United and De Jong another good example.

You only have to look at arsenal to see what can happen when you refresh your board. This entire club is stale and we need a change at the top level as well as in the team

But they have alternatives avaiable and get that deal done when its clear another is going nowhere.
They've all got numerous deals over the line already and we've done absolutely fuck all.
Seriously how can you defend this bollocks?
And thats what it is, bollocks.

The hiring of Conte was Levy’s last chance for me, it was a real opportunity to show he genuinely wanted to bring success on the football pitch, sadly this whole saga has just reconfirmed how badly our football club is being run in terms of actual football related matters not in a commercial sense, I’ve been a season ticket holder for 18 years & a member for years before that, but enough is enough, I no longer want to give my money to Levy & co & won’t be renewing my season ticket next season, gutted to say that but it’s how fed up I’ve become & genuinely feel we as fans are taken the piss out of, also the likelihood sale of Harry Kane this summer will push many away, & the stadium isn’t isn’t a patch on the old WHL, full of tourists & lacks passion & atmosphere! #levyout!

I know Chairmen go on longer than managers but when ENIC took over Spurs we had George Graham, imagine still having him as manager. This club is stale, stale as fuck. At the very least Levy needs to step down as Chairman. Fans in the stadium at home games need to make their feelings clear, I know I will.

With our misery being compounded further with Woolwich being 17 points ahead of us when we’ve finished above them for 6 consecutive seasons as well, the pressure will continue to mount on Levy.

It’s gone all bullseye: this is what you could’ve won (where you could’ve been).

I think an issue is there’s no real cohesive argument being made outside of “we’d like to win”. And yeah, it’d be nice. But when it was the super league or moving to Stratford or the furlough or whatever, I got it. Those were big bad things. I’ve said many times Levy’s been in our way and not backing Poch was unforgivable.

But ENIC have spent money. They’ve spent a lot in recent years. They have made short term decisions instead of penny pinching in the hope of success now: you don’t hire Mourinho or Conte if you’re not fussed about success, this isn’t like Newcastle appointing McClaren, these are expensive managers who demand (and have got) a lot of money. It’s led to the club being more of a mess than it was before. I just don’t really get what throwing more money at it will do, nor how we actually intend to get success outside of saying “success please”. I just don’t see the strategy is my point. If the alternative is blood money, I’d still rather Levy.

I think its 2 things
1. Having a clear plan. You get win now managers, then go Chelsea big. We didn't. I'd personally rather us try and invest in young players, an effective conveyer belt academy. With smart recruitment in key areas (Gk and CB for me). Devine is a good example of what we should be doing (but smarter loans, etc, are key)
2. Having football people run the football side. Give them a budget. And then (levy) keep your nose out. And, give them a fair amount of flexibility on budget over a say 3 year range. Means if you (the football people) think we need to go hard, now, you can. (think post CL final, etc)

Overall, DL seems to just not be able to help himself getting involved, and, wanting to get a 'deal'
VdV was amazing.
Taking months to appoint nuno should have been a death knell.

We where ahead of Liverpool for a good few years then they got a plan and went past us. We where ahead of Arsenal for a good few years then they got a plan and went past us. Our decision making is pants.

I honestly don’t know how a Spurs fan can be Levy in unless they enjoy mediocrity.

Hiring Jose was the issue and hiring Nuno and Conte were also the issues. None of them were a fit for us.

Look at Brighton - they went from Potter to RDZ and didnt change their philosophy or strategy - they werent for someone who could continue from the foundations and progress that Potter made.

We have spent to rectify mistakes after mistakes - the money should have been spent on rebuilding then adding as and when regularly. Instead we are chasing our tail with our spend - we buy X and need to replace him with Y because X was shit rather than using the Y money to add to the squad to strengthen.

I get your sentiment and respect your thoughts. I waited years to get my season tickets so I cannot give them up now.
I have no issue with tourists at the stadium, they are not at fault.
Our new stadium is absolutely amazing, it’s the foorball which is the problem and Levy has screwed up big time.
I will
Always support the club, whoever owns us.
However I may stop buying the merchandise?

Had a quick look at ENIC-era managers performance before, during and after their spell with us.
(Note: Based on quick Wiki research, so don't bet your house on these numbers.)

And most on here would shit the bed if we appointed RDZ instead of a high-salary “name” like Jose or Conte. We can bang on about philosophy all day long, but the appointment of a manager like RDZ would be greeted with page after page of anti Levy guff about going for the cheap option / no ambition.

Many, many fans (me included), don’t have a problem with Levy and the board, and I imagine this will just fizzle out. ENIC will go when they decide to sell. I just don’t see fan pressure achieving much of anything.
Well you carry on attending clapping and eating your artisan £34 fish and chips

Wouldn't surprise me in 50 years time when it's time to open the time capsule. There's a mechanism which needs a £2 count to open it

Although he has frustrated me more times than i count i always gave Levy the benefit of the doubt and had quite warmed to the little bald demon (whilst his hand was firmly in my wallet)

but i am firmly in the get him out the hotseat sharpish camp now, time for a change from top to bottom.
