Countless millions on players and pay offs for coaches and we're actually worse off than we were before Poch went (save an unlikely progression to the CL final). It really isn't the willingness to spend money - it's the sheer waste of money.
Poch was calling for an expensive rebuild, clearly we had reached a pivotal point, he obviously thought changing the manager was the cheaper option, that worked out well for the muppet. 😂

In truth he’s gaining so much from his property & entertainment expansions, the football failures are and always have been the sideshow. Ideally of course he would rather spend less on the team, much like when prime poch was delivering on a shoestring whilst we waited for that great game changer 🥕 But youth are no longer as cheap, at least the good one’s as he’s expensively found out, also those lastminute.com deals don’t always result in a VDV… (rarely do)

Overall ignoring the minor issue of the actual football team he’s doing great, it’s why Invisible joe is happy to keep him in a job and reward him handsomely each year. We just need to stop throwing our toys and show the same appreciation when that new hotel gets built or Beyonce plays before an NFL match, heck we can even go karting or climbing after we’ve lost 1-0 to whatever average crap played us that week and enjoy reading the financials in the evening…

Arsenal might win the league but they've not got our wage-to-turnover ratio, so who are the real winners?

I don't care about Beyonce concerts, F1 karting, boxing, NFL, Lady Gaga or whatever bloody else they do at our ground. Enic are turning us into an entertainment brand/property developers. WE ARE A FOOTBALL CLUB.......CONCENTRATE ON THAT.

As supporters we need to make our feelings known It's like some supporters think we "might do a Leeds," or are scarred by the Sugar years. I remember when the year ending in 1 used to be a thing. ENIC swiftly put a stop to that. Every top player we've had has left to win trophies e.g. Berbatov, Carrick, Bale, Eriksen, Modric etc.

Conte most definitely needs to go, but so do the owners who have underperformed for far longer than our manager.

Guys - I love Spurs as much as the next person. However they are just not worth it.

Let it go - enjoy the odd high.

It will never change under ENIC. Not worth the heartache
Agree it will never change under Levy we will be having the same discussions as now in a decades time if he is still running the show.

I read somewhere he's at the F1 in Bahrain?

He doesn't give a feck.
Yes, meeting with Nafaji who wants to buy the club. You could level many valid criticisms at Levy, but the idea he doesn't attend a large number of Spurs games, certainly more than any other chairman, is laughable.

We have no winning culture at all under pretty much the whole time Levy has overseen things and if he can’t get it done when he has an absolute world class striker on the books he never will.

Kanes best years are passing and Levy’s shit show at not being able to surround him with capable players is one huge reason he should be gone. He has blamed enough managers time to have a look in the mirror.

One of Levy’s great achievements is to cement the term ‘Spursy’.

Mate we were asking for £25m for Tanganga and Davies EACH!!!! That's why we don't sell players
They then stay at the club whilst their performances get worse and their value plummets cause their contract dwindles down.

Here's an idea. Next time you are 10m shy of getting a CB you need, push the likes of Sanchez out for a discount fee and then you can put that money to a CB who has similar level of ability as Romero and then you don't need another for several years.

I am just so apathetic at this point. I know that we need an overhaul, from as high on up as we could go and all the way down through the academy. I know it won’t happen, and we will get the same repackaged managerial hire we have gotten so used to. One that is viewed as able to “preserve” our current status and create just enough buzz to get the fans excited.

But it won’t change a thing. The same unreliable and woefully average players will somehow remain, the manager will see the “talent of the current squad” and push the club lines for a period of time. It might get better for a bit, but then it’ll all go to Hell in a handbasket. Because there is no direction. There is no commitment to excellence on the pitch, only in the margins and market appeal. I know the terrible results, the singular performances that make you wonder why you even care when the players obviously don’t, and the downward turns will continue to be just around the corner.

We need an intervention at the very top that will buck this shitty trend. An absolute overhaul, a clear-out, something drastic, has to happen. Hiring a new manager is not it. Bringing in just new players isn’t it. It’s got to be way more than that.

The team play exactly how the club has been run.

All over the place. Small sprinkles of excitement and records broken (Kane) whilst also lacking direction and ideas.

Please please Levy, step down.
Like how the fans are isn't it. Some wanted changes, some pour scorns over those fans who want changes. Some are fine with exciting football, some just wanted to win something. Of course every club has such fans, but is almost THFC have the most diversified opinions of the club that whatever happens to the club will always be OK, and that's by being mediocre.

This fucking personnel in charge. Empty stadium during home games is the only chance for any action. Sadly it won’t happen, people are addicted to football and this club.

PS arent our ticket prices the highest in the league? If so, the fanbase is also a part of the problem. Accepting same shit served for past 5 seasons by stuffing Levy’s pocket with shitload of cash.

The good news is that, as we can see from peoples comments in this thread fans are waking up to it and are fully aware now of where the issues at the club lay. It’s quite clear.

Wholesale change is required. Will we get it? Unlikely. But at least we can stop blaming the manager/players etc.

that’s not to say that the managers non-commital or the players failure are not worthy of scrutiny, but the cause comes from the aforementioned leadership of the whole club.
