I haven’t posted on here for a very long time, and I should have when my view’s actually changed January 2022.

I would like to apologise for ever defending the bald ****, and I hope Levy leaves this club asap.

nothing will ever change and to be honest I was scared that the grass is not always greener on the other side. Well I no longer care what the colour of the grass is, he has to go

I can’t wait to see him go.

I accept it might be a long time unfortunately but it can’t happen soon enough for me.
Strangely there was so little anti Levy chants at the game today. It’s like the fans have given up which is more worrying. Either that or 95% of the stadium is full of tourists replacing real fans who gave up years ago.

We have to be careful though. When you see how fast Leicester and West Ham fell after doing well up the top end, now Everton fighting relegation 2 season running who are another ever present like us. We can't take for granted our status as a club based off our regular finishes in the European places. The league doesn't care what you did lately and things can turn from bad to worse if you don't act fast. It's not at a stage we need to panic but we are in a crucial period for the club where we need to get it right. The top 4 became a top 6 and now is very much starting to look different each season. Newcastle are looking like they could become a force in time and you know Liverpool and Chelsea will be back up there. We could start to slide if we're not careful especially if Levy stays for another 10 years or more. If we don't have our shit together when Kane leaves I would be very worried.
The level of spending we have is essentially okay. Allows us to compete at least. But to maximise that money, pretty much everything else in the footballing set up has to change.

I know football fans are prone to hyperbole but I think we can safely say that things haven't gone to plan these last few years. Hell, I think it's clear there hasn't been a coherent plan at all aside from squeak CL if we can and cross our fingers our last reactionary move magically works out this time somehow.

If there is any silver lining to all of this, it's that I've never seen so many on here use the word 'toxic' to describe the club as I have tonight. I think that has to mean something.

I don't hate levy and I appreciate the good work he has done, but he has to take the blame for the mess we are in, and let's be honest we are in a mess.

This can easily be rectified, we have seen the gooners go from 5th to top, and Leicester go from bottom to top so it can happen. (Both in one season).

The chants are getting louder but in reality he doesn’t give two fucks, he just sits there smugly.

we need it to turn really nasty and then to be fair he will just bring poch back and most will be lap dogs again, someone in this club needs to have a set of balls and challenge him

The chants are getting louder but they don’t really last very long. Think the most consistent chanting was Fulham away.

Your right though, either was it won’t matter to much to levy

So much belly aching about Sanchez today, but Levy sits comfortably on his perch. I've got no problem with fans making their voices heard and Sanchez can accept some responsibility for how people responded to him today. Stellini set him up though. And Levy set us all up for what were currently experiencing.

Get active and organized with LEVY OUT signs and chants folks. Stop going along to games like empty vessels waiting for something to react to. "Levy out", early and often, loud and clear.

Not really the most healthy of posts this tbh.

To be fair, isn't the football the most important thing?

It's a football club! People seem to forget that

As we are a Football club, that is pretty damning though?
Absolutely, yeah. Definitely fuck off the bloke who sees the football team as a means to an ends, and will only ever pay it the bare means.

But we're hardly getting served winding up notices anytime soon though, are we? We're the opposite of being "run into the ground". Like... Clubs are actually going out of business, while we're one of the top 10 richest clubs in the world. That's just hysteria.

i dont think anyone was seriously putting ourselves in that boat, i certainly wasnt anyway.
Its the fact we were solely a football club for over 140 years, now it seems to be the least priority to the owners

Based on what exactly?

Just because Conte didn't work out the fact we hired at huge expense the most successful manager available - one of the elite in the world - doesn't indicate a lack of priority to me.

Weird argument.

Anyone who was there today how often were the Levy chants? If we go behind early in our next home game or are losing badly I think they could finally get pretty loud.

Our fans seem to have stockholm syndrome when it comes to Levy, we all agree he is the problem yet only about 10-15% of matchgoing fans are up for actually speaking up and chanting about it to put some pressure on, the rest just sit in berwilderment as the same cycles repeat themselves, it seems that the results have to get really bad for it to really take effect, this constant 4th-6th place with no direction and shit football in a toxic atmosphere seems to be just enough to keep the wolves at bay.

its not just Conte that didnt work out though is it? Running the football side is more than just spending loads on a manager.
We cant seem to sell any players, which has an impact on buying new players.
The fact is the new stadium was meant to have been a spring board to make the team better and competitive, seems to have gone the other way to me

Plenty on here wanted Pochettino sacked and applauded the Mourinho hire on the basis we had to win something.

I disagreed. But I'm not blaming levy for that decision.
The only major fuck up since sacking Poch was hiring Nuno. Which was it just be said a pretty big fuck up

Like i say it doesnt matter what manager you appoint, if the structure isnt there behind them to succeed.
IMO that is why Poch pretty much gave up in the end, and why all the managers since have failed.

In retrospect that might have been the two worst decisions Levy has made.

Poch was definitely burned out after the 18-19 season - but Levy should have made sure Poch was ready to go for the 19-20 season. Extra couple of weeks on holiday or something.

The decision to hire Conte was the absolute worst - not just because it was Conte, but because it showed Levy had no clue about the state of the squad and just assumed a new manager was the answer. Levy has been chasing that bad decision ever since.
