shows either a short memory or no experience of watching how bad we were in the 90's.
Or perhaps, a memory that extends pre-90s when we were considered one of the big five who regularly challenged for, and won, trophies

We have a rich history that goes back beyond Sugar...

I wonder how many opposition fans have signed that and liked/followed the blogs and social media posts.

I know quite a few Manchester United fans who have, as they also want Levy out. They are pissed off they can no longer get our best players with Levy in charge, they were all desperate for Modric, Bale and Kane to sign for them.

Maybe all the people who want Levy/ENIC out should get them selves down to the Stadium and protest in person, if the numbers are correct then the protests would be huge.

I think the progress is remarkable, from nothing to many in the ground singing

It’s already making a difference, we now have a chance at least through new structures of keeping him away from most routine football decisions

He certainly thought better of ticket price rises amidst the reaction, too

Ralph, Julian and a two year ext for HK incoming- we know you’re shitting it Danny boy, get it done

If you think that only Spurs fans have signed it, then I would say you are being a little naive, there are a lot of sad and petty football fans out there unfortunately. You only have to look at the replies on our social media posts to realize that and how some of our recent polls have been hijacked by Liverpool fans. These types of polls/votes are an open invitation for every other fan base to take this piss.

I'm pretty sure @cliff jones is well aware that it's possible that a small number of other clubs fans might have signed it. I think his disbelief comes from you saying that you know 'quite a few' United fans at all let alone that they have all signed it. Had you gone with one or two.................:D

Unfortunately, I live in the North, It's either Liverpool fans or Manchester United fans here, the last Spurs fan I knew retired and became a Newcastle fan.

I would be yes, but you’re naive for thinking it’s remotely relevant or interesting

People saying “it could be worse we could have the Glazers etc”…

To play devils advocate man.u under the ‘worse’ ownership of the glazers in their ‘really bad times after Fergie’ have won more trophies in the last 6 years than we have in the last 25.

Anyways Levy isn’t all bad he just needs to pick the right football people that fit the spurs DNA and leave them to it. Just frustrating that after 22 years of ownership he’s still not able to do that.

If we now hire e.g. Rangnick and Naglesmann and Levy leaves those 2 and Munn to the job to put a good style of play and football plan in place then happy days, it’s that simple.

That being said I think it’s reached the point of no return now with the fans frustration and it’s not good for the players for the atmosphere to be negative longer term, in which case it might just be best if Levy steps down and/or hires a CEO and becomes a non executive director etc.

Also we were doing well on an upward trajectory from 2002->2018 it’s really the last 5 years where we’ve completely lost our way. Let’s hope we can get back on track now 🤞 and that Levy has learned from the mistakes of Jose,Conte,Nuno and Paratici. They didn’t fit our club and the football was boring, rigid and defensive and so the fans frustration has kept building as there has been no plan or project to get behind or exciting football like there was previously.

Under Jol and Redknapp we had a young exciting British core, under Poch we had a young exciting team, since 2018 the player and manager recruitment and lack of plan has been a big issue. We are at a crossroads now but with the right hires the feel good factor can come back like we saw with the match under Mason this week, more of those type of performances in a row and the fans will be happy again 👍 🙏

The people who say that or better the devil you know and the other hairy dangly bollocks abut grass, Leeds and whatever conveniently forget (or leave out) that it could also be better. We just don't know and one day they will sell, that'll set the cat amongst the pigeons.

It amuses me that people have no problem is telling us that there's no balance from the ousters then go ahead and post as if selling the club is automatic armageddon :D Beware the bogeyman......(ghostly wail...........ooooooooh)

In all honesty, I wonder if this club is actually in a crisis at all, not much seems to be his shortship's fault and what is gets greeted with a 'yeah but'............. it's almost like an immaculate conception

There, i've poked it with a stick...........I'm sure someone will be along soon to tell me off :woot:

Seriously though and kidding aside, I am astonished that so many people can't see through the bollocks and those on both sides of the fence are very guilty of that.

No doubt I'm going to get absolutely blasted for this on here, but I have to make my point.

I think this petulant feet stamping by our fan-base (especially during matches) is pretty embarrassing. Like everyone else I recognise that the footballing side of things is in a complete mess and massive errors have been made. Levy definitely needs to step aside on the football side and allow football people the autonomy to run it themselves without any interference and it looks as though that has been recognised and changes are being made to address that.

But to not recognise where this club has come from and where we are now is unfair and shows either a short memory or no experience of watching how bad we were in the 90's.

Massive progress as a club has been made. Changes are required but this is not the way to do it IMO. The path to success is not a straight line.
I'm so sick of comparing where we were over 20 years ago. There comes a point where you have to compare where we've gone under ENIC since. You can't keep going back to where we were previously when the owners have been here for 20+ years. They have to work on how to progress from the last 5 years.

I keep going back to our last FA cup win in 1990-91 and the proud history we had in this competition. Pre-internet I recall seeing a table printed in some of papers listing spurs as joint top with Utd on having won the most FA Cups with 8 over that 100year period. As a fan that was amazing to see and I still remember it to this day.

Have a look at that list now in last 30years, Arsenal (14), Utd (12), Chelsea (8 - 7 since our last win) & Liverpool (8 - 4 since our last win) have overtaken us and it won't long til City has too.
I for one do not what this to continue.

What are the younger fans going to look back and remember, we had a better stadium that those other clubs, lucky us.

Who doesn’t recognise where we have come from in the 90s?

everyone knows we were dross in the 90s

what has that got to do with the mess of the last few years and shocking strategic decisions and transfer strategy?

the game has totally changed to back then

Yes progress has been made there has been a huge boom in the premier league and a general asset price boom which has accounted for most of the wealth creation levy has enjoyed

And we are now firmly going backwards

I used to buy a ticket for £15 to go to WHL in the 90s. It’s irrelevant

just let them do it- great infrastructure, sustainably unsuccessful, better than Sugar on a never ending loop of justification

Be careful who you wish for, better the devil you know, we might to a Leeds- bingo!
