The use of BSODL is Spurs Communities own toxic version of the term remoaners. Used to shut down discussion and be abusive. Meh
TBH it's no different to some of the stuff you see posted by the other side of the argument and if it's used to shut down discussion, well, it's not working too well is it :D

Overall, this is all an argument that's gotten so stale now, both sides of it are just going around and around in circles, it's admirable from a stamina point of view but Levy leaving the club would be a blessing for one more reason now :D

What gets me are the ones goading others from at every opportunity and the instant labelling of BSoDL just because you think he did something well or wasn't at fault for something.

It's becoming embarrassing from both sides in all honesty.

As Levy is responsible for all football matters does he get any credit for signing Maddison for £40 million ?
That was great business, no doubt. The top teams buy Maddison type players for 70-80 million 2-3 years prior when the squad needs refreshing and you have prime Harry Kane in your ranks. Therein lies the frustration. Always looking for the bargain and "one upping" his adversaries on the fees instead of pushing the club forward on the pitch.

When Madders became available, the previous manager didn't want him.

I’m not sure that’s true.

We were interested when he went to Norwich with reports of him choosing 1st team football over being a squad player with us.

When he went to Leicester he’d have been understudy to Eriksen for a season. It was reported he chose 1st team football again.

We are now reaping the benefits of him choosing his moves for footballing reasons.

You're right, It's not true

And it shows that 'narrative' isn't confined to one side. That's how petty this shithole thread has become. It's getting to the stage where the thing needs locking, but you can't because it's a huge thing among fans right now. So you ask for common sense and balance. Fat fucking chance. From either side, despite assorted attempts to claim the moral high ground, most recently, with this 'narrative' bullshit.

You criticise Levy and someone "whatabouts" and says you should give credit for something else, most recently, for signing Maddison.

You praise Levy and in exactly the same way, it needs to be couched with something to satisfy the 'yeah whatabout' fraternity.

It's a fucking huge and very petty tit-for-tat where the argument turns into this constant bollocks that deflects from what the actual issues are.

Petty, point scoring horseshit. I don't generally involve myself in serious discussion about the bloke any more. We all know where the problems lie, we all know what needs to happen and all this thread is now is a fucking great big cockjoust for the kids. It's far far better to just step away and concentrate on posting bilge in the match thread or something :D

TBH I just discuss points. If people want to assign me onto a mythological side, that’s up to them.

Just for fun I was in the Dier thread.

A poster there just called out the Eric Dier Fan Club.

That’s one that clearly doesn’t exist.

It’s extraordinary to me how many people try baiting people that don’t exist.

It feels satisfying to have an “enemy” to rally against even if they are imaginary.

It’s a similar thing with that twitter rumour about a secret clique of Spurs players who clubbed together to refuse moves to spite Levy and sabotage the club.

Jesus that actually happened? (the rumour, not the secret clique)

I'm pretty sure he's talking about Conte not being open to Maddison. How true that was, I don't know.
So last summer when the manager didn’t want him and he would have cost considerably more than we got him for?

Who are we blaming here? Conte for not wanting him or Levy for not spending huge on a player the manager didn’t want?

Yesterdays win and performance was very enjoyable. I believe we will and should see many more like that this season if we dont get any injuries. I wouldnt even be surprised if we even finish top 4.

Having said that, i have this horrible feeling i know what will be around the corner. Our non-glorious owner/chairmen will do to Ange, what he did with others before him. Instead of building a quality squad for the manager, he will revert to sahas, nelsons, jansenns, nkoudous, njies, rodons and djed spences.

This owner does not know when to seize the moment hence why one flooky league cup in 20+ years. He spent a bit of money after the CL final defeat but that was too little too late, again. It needed to have been done the previous 2 summers. Levy just doesnt get it. Always reactive and not proactive.

Liverpool owners are getting a lot of stick at the moment but they knew when to seize the moment with klopp. they bought the right players, i.e. allison and van dijk just at the right time when the team was on the upward trajectory, the rest is history.

Look at the gooners, there owners got a lot of stick but this season they realised Arteta is on to something special, so they have gone all out to buy some very big players. Time will tell if that will result in trophies but again, it shows they know when to seize the moment and go big.

Our owner in the past 20+ years has shown he has not a clue about building a successful football team, doesnt have a clue when to seize the moment. I would obviously Kevin Keegan love it if proved wrong but i cant see anyone changing after 20+years.

Terrible. Simply terrible window.

I'm tagging @[email protected]

You don't need to react to this 😉
I find this type of childish crowing just bizarre! It reads as, “Haha, Levy Critics. Fuck you all. He didn’t reinvest all the Kane money and we still won!!”
Do you honestly believe that yesterdays win vindicates Levy’s failure to provide Ange with the 2nd CB he’s been asking for since Harry left? Unequivocally, Romero and Mickey won’t play every game, and the drop off in quality - and suitability to the high line we play - is alarming. Levy’s consistent failure to give successive managers what they want and need will undoubtedly cost us vital points again this season. Will you be back here crowning then?
I just find it odd - and a little suspicious - that any true supporter of Tottenham Hotspur FC doesn’t look at how Ange has fundamentally changed the playing culture at our Club and brought back the joy of watching our football team again, and instead of screaming from the rooftops, “Back the man, Levy!!!”, are pushing all the excuses and championing all the reasons why he hasn’t.
