Are the injuries & losses his fault? No. Is the lack of depth in certain his fault? Yes. Is having no striker his fault? Also yes. For like 5 or 6 years now, we have had just absolutely absurd injury crises each year that is unseen anywhere else. So I do think we need to take this into account to potentially look to mitigate when reviewing our needs each window. It will cost money but these injuries building up every year also costs money & places in the table.

Having fun with this for a second & leaving into my enic out agenda, it’s like we’re paying the price for a certain occurance that happened during the build of the new ground. Thus, i think the only answer is a campaign for the defoe transfer allegation to result in Levy’s banishment from football so we can be taken over.

I think only at ST and CB are we really missing, but at striker that’s mainly because Ricky isn’t performing. Looking around the PL a lot of teams are struggling with injuries simply due to the amount of football being played over the last year.

The CB situation was obviously a big risk by Levy, and it's no surprise that it's bitten us in the arse again, although the circumstances of the Chelsea game are pretty crazy, even for Spurs.

I imagine Ange would have signed off on Sanchez leaving without being able to replace because a) he's not a good possession player even if he is fast and b) he would expect the sale means there is no excuse whatsoever not to get a replacement in as soon as the window opens.

But he wouldn't be the first manager to expect things to happen rather differently to how dear leader sees it.

On the flip side, if he is ceding control to Munn to pick his football people, even if that means a good recruitment team has left the club, then that is what a lot of people were asking for I suppose...

Honestly I agree with some of what you are saying and I don't think Levy is the Devil or that he doesn't care but Levy is no white knight hero either. He has always left us short when there was no need to on the playing side if he felt he could get away with it... always. It's a case of doing enough to possibly succeed rather than a little more to try and guarantee it.

If all we add in January is another top drawer CB then i think we would've done pretty well to be honest. Quality players are not readily available in Jan and fans are just going to have to accept that before we can do loads more we need to make room by moving others on first.
