The fact is that Harry took some very nervy decisions that may not sit well with certain fans.

He did not give much priority to the League Cup or the FA cup, he gambled on the CL run and for that I congratulate the team for getting as far as they did!

But I also find it hard to stomach that in the League up against our biggest rivals. He turned his back on us the fans!

So for me the glass is half full.. I am optimistic about the CL run and I cannot in any way say anything else as the competition has lined the clubs pockets well.

But my glass is half empty because you should never show any weakness to the SCUM!

But he will redeem himself and my glass will be overflowing if beat the barstewards next week

Most contradictory post ever? We beat "the Scum" and you said your glass was both half full and half empty?

Just back from the game. The crowd were excellent tonight, really good proper support and the players really appreciated it. Gazza was loving it as well bless him lol. The only disappointment was that we didn't score - thought we deserved something for our efforts but that's just the way it goes. Very proud fan tonight. Yid Army!

The post was meant for you.. Its quite a clever post really !

But the fact is think how you felt when we put out a weak team that night and then the issue of having to deal with scum fans the next day. Half empty!

CL footy and going further than the scum .. Half full

beat the buggers next week and do the double in countless years.. for me that is even bigger than tonight.

But tonight the fans were terrific the players were really good and the competition was better than us ( we will need to improve for next time)

:hello:

So what Modric has proven himself countless times.

When he broke his leg and walked of the field for example.
When he came back in record time from injury..
But the one that is key.. Wenger said he was too fragile for this league. yet Fabragas cant even stay fit !!

This is Modrics strength and his downfull
1. He is like the energizer bunny ( Duracell in Europe) never stops a true great (strength)
2. Redknapp played the kid until he was almost dropping a few weeks back, two weeks after his appendix was removed. Modric is worth a fortune to the club!
(downful)

But I wonder if you understood my last post or your just changed the subject because it was suited you!

I think everyone agreed at the beginning of the season that a good run in the CL and getting 4th again would be a great season. Part 1 done, part 2 still achievable. Yes we've had slip up's along the way but we're Spurs what did you expect? We never do things the easy way. COYS

I am not sure about putting out a weakened team against Le Arse though and I think the Fulham win was unexpected.. Hence the fight with Hutton (rumour)

So yes if we beat the scum and get 4th then this year will be beyond our wildest dreams!

CL hey shit happens and it happened last week

We can say what not many other fans can say about their clubs. We have seen our boys play in the Champions League. Taking on the best of the best, the cream of the crop.

And we've done it with a fucking style and panache which befits our beautiful history!

We've had massive lows, we've rode the waves of the lows into massive highs. And we've found ourselves in the final 8 teams standing in the competition. Audere est facere. We dared, we did!

We lost to an excellent Real Madrid team who, with Mourinho, will no doubt give Barca a run for their money in the semis. No shame in that.

We must now carry that journey with us in the remaining 7 league games we've got left. Let's take that experience and ensure we get to taste it again come August. Let's leave no regrets out on the field.

Bring on the Arse, the blue moon Mancs and Chelsea. Let's show 'em what we're made of!

COYS!!!

I don't think there would be another ground in the country where that many fans would have stayed in the ground until the full time whistle blew and then ended with huge applause and chanting for the team.

Great atmosphere last night, especially the first half, not a bad team performance, looked decent at times, and the support to go with it, fucking brilliant.

Same atmosphere, different result next week please.

Bloke next to me said we were embarrassed last night. Not at all. Taking the game in isolation, and yes Madrid may have not played to their top capacity, it was very even and hard fought. I have yet to see the re run and sit near the Paxton but I just wonder if we had got an early goal via a pen, how the Lane would have been rocking then.

Shame, great run and as this is a positive thread, maybe we went out at the right time. We have plenty of players back now, no new injuries (touch my head) and time to get back to 4th. If we had got through to Barca, that may have been a major distraction through to early May.

Hold on, didn't we say this is the positive thread? People not in Steve's mindset, fuck off to the "VdV is shit" thread. The rest of us in Steve's mindset, just ignore ignorant posts. Resist the temptation of the quote button!

I'm so proud of the way our fans stuck with the team, earning plaudits from everyone, from fans to pundits, to managers (Jose calling it an "incredible crowd").

I'm proud that we outplayed them for large periods of the match. I'm happy Gomes got his standard issue blunder out the way. Expect him focussed to make amends now.

I'm proud that Tommy Huddlestone started poorly but grew into the game. I'm proud of Michael Dawson, performing admirably at the center of our defence.

I'm proud to be Spurs. Now let's fuckin tear those ****s down the road a new one!

Loved last nights game, great atmosphere. Really proud to be part of the crowd that stayed clapped the team off. . But, i think it took the piss that with the exception of Bale that they just walked off. They should of shown more apprication. They have been supported superbly during this Champions League run and should of shown us more respect.

I came home from the game extreamly proud to be a Spurs supporter last night and feel exactly the same this morning. I thought the lads performed really well and showed that, with 11 men, we are a match for one of the best teams in Europe.

To Harry, the players and the supporters (except those fuckwits in front of me and elswhere who left as soon a Madrid scored last night) I say a massive THANK YOU for all your efforts and for providing me with some fantastic memories during our incredible run to the q\f.

Seriously. Champions league QF against Real Madrid, one of the greatest club sides the world has ever seen at WHL, and they left?

Fuck me. Some people need a fucking reality check

a truly wonderful performance by the fans at the lane last night that was a credit to us all. Not once did you let the boys down.

Over two legs the best team won but we were not embarrassed the scoreline was not a true reflection even jose knows that.
there also seemed to be a bit of a love in with him and some fans as the tv picjked up a number of thumbs up from him to spurs fans (next manager in 2012/13 as will i am said i have a feeling)

ever onwards and upwards seven left five wins and 2 draws should be enough
it weill be the Cl loss if we do not make it for next year. COYS

Great support and good- and slightly surprising- that the don't sing the Adebayor song was taken on board.
