You do realise, though, that as soon as we lose, they'll call you the Jonah and chuck you into the seas :hump:

Funny as this thread is, if only City hadn't become the toy of rich Arabs we really could be going for the title. Top four would also be so much easier if it wasn't for the oil subsidised Chelsea and City.
Hats off to Levy, we have done it the hard way gradual and in budget.

This.

I do believe Harry said about this time last year we were 2 or 3 players off a title challenge. Well we've got Parker and Ade and now... Conventional wisdom still says no chance, I ask the question why not?

Sorry:grin:

But unless the daily fail or sun read this forum tottenham fc are still well and truly under the radar... For spurs community readers however, fuck the radar, we're well and truly in the title race.

Whoa, Barcelona is the same position of their league as we are in ours, both 6 points behind the leaders.

Quote from HR in the Mirror before today's game:

Tottenham are priced at 100/1 to win the League, is that worth a few quid?
"No, I wouldn’t, no. No, I’d be quite happy for us just to win it, you know, but it would take it, that’s the odds, that’s a realistic figure, but we are probably, 66/1 or whatever the bookies make you, they’re not going to give you them odds if they really think that you’ve got a chance of taking their money.

Can someone translate his answer into English?

Gary Linekar just asked if we were Premier winner possibles on MOTD, and Lawro said no way (because we're Tottenham)

Lawro always has made rubbish predictions though

"Are we looking at the champions?" Lineker said. Loved it.

Game by game, this attitude of "It's Spurs they'll blow it" is slowly going away. Arsenal Mania was full of it 3 games ago, now, they are all admitting eight points (potentially) is a massive gap.

Win our next three games, and Lawro might have to think a little longer on that question.

BELIEVE.

The sole argument against us being potential champions or in the race, at least, seems to be that the club badge says THFC

We've definitely got the right attitude, having this amazing run going is doing wonders for us. Lennon said on Twitter "Keep this run going", which sounds like our current motto.

No complacency, which has been our downfall time and time again in the last few seasons, and is what is affecting most of our main rivals at the moment.

We can win the league on this form, though there's still a hell of a long way to go yet
