Swansea aren't winning this weekend, best we can hope for is Leicester are so shit without Vardy that they don't win. I fully expect them to win though. Week after it gets interesting for me
I still think Swansea have something to play for. Guidolin said a couple of weeks back that they were safe. He's had a look at the table and changed his mind. Statistically it's still possible for them to go down. Massively unlikely, you know, about as likely as a team like Leicester winning the league, ha ha. If Sunderland get something off Arsenal, Norwich aren't playing this weekend, then Swansea will be wanting points. Their remaining games are Liverpool, WHU, and ManC, so potentially not a lot of points there. Trust me Swansea will be up for it.

(I hope).

I agree. I actually think this will depend on Leicester's approach more. If they are jittery, Swansea will sense that and give them a game. Ranieri also has a decision to make, do they continue in the same vein? Or do they change tactics? For the first time this season they MUST win.

Bloody Newcastle winning a point last night v City :(

I'd rather they got 0 or 3 consistently they need to be safe or relegated by the last game ideally

On the contrary, I was incredibly happy with the result.
City & Arsenal dropping points is absolutely good for us. This was the one fixture City had in hand. More points they drop, more it makes 2nd position in league secure for us.

If 2nd looks secure, then we can go into next 4 games with nothing to lose attitude & take risks in game for 3 points. I mean, we are already in that mode but City & Arse falling behind can only help us more.

Moreover, as others said, its another reason that would keep United motivated against Leicester.

It's perfectly conceivable that they could be in the relegation mix, but only need one point while we need three.

It's possible but I'm not sure that would change much as I doubt they'd risk playing for a draw.
We're getting ahead of ourselves anyway. Let's see what happens in the next round of matches before worrying about that.

I think we need to be less worried about the connotations of games like Newcastle v City.

Let's just win our games and hope that Leicester slip up. Trying to gauge who will be motivated for which games is practically impossible and I think we'll all drive ourselves to insanity trying to do it.

I think for us to have a chance of winning its going to have go to the last day of the season.

In my head I had wanted us to be able to wrap things up at home to Saints in the penultimate game. Just realised that for that to happen we would need to beat WBA, Chelsea and Saints and hope that Leicester take a max of 1point from Swansea, Utd and Everton.

Now should the unthinkable happen and they balls up against Swansea then this gives us a great chance, Sunday is huge for them, they will know their final 3 games are pretty horrendous looking on paper, lets hope the nerves finally get to them. I didnt see the start of the start of the Hammers game on Sunday but the commentators on the radio were saying they started off playing very nervously, this week with added pressure and the absence of Vardy I just hope they crumble. Its a long shot though I still think.

All we can do is win our last 4 games and hope.

I think people are just discussing rather than worrying. Something to do until the next round of games. With City dropping points last night and United playing tonight, do you not think a United win will see them more motivated against Leicester? I think they will be, particularly their supporters, so the connotations affect us. I am looking for a United win!

Just read that, although we lack senior winners according to media and pundits, Eriksen, Toby & Jan were all part of the Ajax team that clawed back a 12 point deficit to take the title on the final day of the 2010/11 season.
That's exactly the sort of experience we need!!!

My point is we don't know, and will never be able to know, how motivated players will be.

For example we worry about Chelsea being more up for the game against us than against Leicester because of the rivalry between us and Chelsea, but do we really think Willian or Baba Rahman (for example) give a shit about that rivalry?

Ultimately we need to win our games and that's all we can control. Obviously it's fine to talk about the tangential stuff, but it won't have a jot of influence on what we do in our games.

Also shows how tough that last match will be. I hope we don't need 3 from it by then.

Well Willian has a huge history with the rivalry he's song is that he hates us!

That run of Leicester's had all games while I was working. Watched West Ham and they drew. Not working for their Swansea and United games either...

I know people have picked up on Fabregas saying he wants Leicester to win it but if they had had Courtois or Hazard on there you might have had a different response.

After all do you not think that they might like to see their fellow countrymen win the league? Would potentially give the Belgian team a boost before the Euros having four Premier league champions in the squad.

I was rewatching the 2nd half against Stoke. I realised when Alli was subbed off, he got a full stadium standing ovation - even Stoke fans clapped him off.

With Vardy's misdemeanour and our Stoke game, I am not so sure if all the neutrals are still completely supporting Leicester anymore. Surely the percentages should be different now....

WBA form :

Last 4 games - 3 loss & 1 draw.
Surely, we should be beating that lot at home on Monday...
I never understand why form suddenly means whether you win or not. Form changes - Constantly.

If a team loses the first three games of the year it doesn't suddenly mean they'll be relegated with zero wins.

They play Arsenal at the Emirates on Thursday too. I think they'll be tired; playing on a big pitch before our game, end of the season and a club not used to playing two games in less than a week playing twice in four days.
