I am not really surprised or very disappointed that we lost yesterday. It is a stretch for us not to lose any London derbies.

Went on Arsemania for a bit of mild relief found the irony of this poster's name quite funny

I'm sure Usmanov is laughing his @@ss off at what is happening to the club atm.

We have utterly fallen. I stopped watching us play after Chelsea game. Just couldn't take it anymore.

Can't get angry with a manager and a team that doesn't give a fvck. Concentrating on other things is more important then wasting time of these idiots.

But I still can't take the angry out of me. I feel like going to the club and screaming my @@ss off. I don't care if I cry while I do that. I just want them to hear me. Just hear me say I hate them and will kick the cvnts out if I could. Each and every one of them. Go in their faces and scream at them to leave the club.

I'm so p1ssed even after not watching. I JUST WANT THESE MOTHERFVCKERS TO LEAVE.

I am worried about Chelsea, they are looking like their old selves again, we have to play them away.

We've actually got a tough run in. Chelsea, Liverpool, Stoke away, Arsenal and ManU at home. We've only got to draw three of those while ManU, City or Arsenal win and we've lost CL.

There's also the possibility that one of the English teams could win the CL or Europa and create another nightmare scenario for whoever finishes in fourth.

All good fun eh?

English teams have to win both and finish outside top 4 for 4th place to miss out

ManU, Liverpool, Chelsea ? Hell, even ManC could just as easily finish fifth as win the title and go and fluke the CL. It's a crazy season that is proving very hard to predict.

Very unlikely

But I suppose chelsea could win cl and finish outside top four while Liverpool or man u do the same with europa

I don't personally see it happening and I'm not worried about it unlike the year chelsea win cl (I had a bad feeling all season they were going to do it)

Fourth place would still get CL in that scenario. Rules were changed post 2012.

I dont like loosing but its hard to take when the team plays like the dont care. I've only seen this a couple of times this season and thought we were past it but unfortunately were not. This is the reason why we will struggle to win the league. The players knew there was a chance to sit top of the pile and not one of them looked bothered.

I don't think it was a case of the players not caring, I just think it was a culmination of things, intimidating atmosphere, last game between the sides at Upton Pk, WH in their faces seeking to avenge the 4-1 thrashing (which they had to apologise to their fans for), I think the players also froze a bit and got nervous, it was just a horrible disjointed performance and hopefully they can rectify things on Saturday, no better game to play to get last night of of their system either - our fans need to play their part at the Lane and ramp up the noise.

Come on this doesn't make any sense, why would they suddenly stop caring?

The opposition stopped us from playing and got in our faces which took us off our game.

I'd like to apologise as yesterday was all my fault... I just don't know how to support a succesful team and finally after months of being cautious and fearful of showing any optimism I finally bit and started telling my West Ham supporting mates that we'd finish our final game at Upton Park by singing "We are top of the League" at full voice :singing:

If it's any consolation they're giving it back to me ten-fold today asking what they view is like from the top of the league :banghead: :bag:

I don't think you can possibly accuse our team of not caring this season when our togetherness and team spirit is one of the major reasons why we are 2nd.

Could it not possibly be that despite what a lot of arrogant fans think, West Ham are actually a good team? A good team who did to us what we've been doing to others and we couldn't handle it. They also completely negated our full backs and we were left with no pace or penetration in the team.

Or maybe Poch is not invincible and actually got his team selection wrong. Or we had a bad day. Or Kane and Dier are knackered.

There are a whole heap of reasons for that defeat and performance ahead of the conclusion that the players don't care enough.

Ok maybe they did care and that wasnt the correct thing to say, but its us that do that to teams, were supposed to be in their faces giving them hassle. We didnt have the ball 100% of the time, so when they had the ball I didnt see us do that once to them so that auto made me think they didnt care. Did we have a different game plan then ? Why would we change it, its only West Ham ffs.

You guys are seriously telling me if we get 5th and no trophy, his stock won't go down on here? Come on now.
I don't think it's likely that we loose out on top 4, especially not after NLD :sneaky:, but if we do, the mood will change drastically. Top 4 is baseline requirement now, even if it wasn't at the start of the season or 4 months ago.

The view is a lot better in 2nd place than it is in 6th.

Also players get nervous - especially inexperienced ones. Was a very partisan crowd, and going top in March is a massive thing for these lads.

You think playing away to the pikeys is more intimidating than playing away to the scum ?

After the end of swansea game, poch already told that players are tired. So it's not surprising the very next match we had our worst game of the season. It was coming, poch knew it.
