I believe Jose can deliver the club a title but it won't be this year he needs more time and investment.

I'm in the same boat as you, @shelfboy68. I believe Mourinho is the right manager for the club at this time, but we are a few players short and/or need some good luck, particularly with injuries. Just imagine being able to reliably pull Lamela into a match throughout a season.

I haven't felt this optimistic about the entire structure of our club in a long, long time. It feels like Mourinho hasn't just elevated the players, but the club as a whole. Who knows - maybe he's even given Levy some insights from his trophy-laden career. ?

I really appreciate this particular thread. I've followed SC for years before joining and posting, and have struggled with how we turn against each other when we lose and disagree. Disagreeing is the best opportunity to learn from each other's insights and perspectives and grow.

Don't mind being 3rd/4th at this stage. We have a simpler run of fixtures coming up after Leicester and Wolves, if we're still within 6 point of the lead after those games than anything is possible.

Top 4 would still be a good season all things considered, I just wish we could win something this season for the likes of Kane, Hugo, Dier, Son, Lamela and Toby who have been an integral part of our recent history.

No, the thread is for those who have the right mentality and belief that we are going places, or the belief that our mentality as fans needs a seachange. People writing off top 4 after a couple of results is lunacy.
