Best I’ve seen us play for an age, we had a phase where it dropped off but that coincided with us wanting to play football, so similar to the u20’s last night.
Blitz defence does need work though as two of the tries were because of the wide overlap but you know what, we’ve just turned a team over I thought we’d lose by 20 to so happy days!

I was fearing a battering by 30-40 points.

Got to say there were some great games played this weekend, along with my lad winning his league this morning with a game to spare, go on the A’s!

I've missed the last few weeks of matches, so I don't know if it's expected, but for the first 20 minutes Wales look awful, and Italy good enough to win.

Italy have been pretty good in this tournament.

Wales seem to only be able to play well for about 20 minutes in each game.

Would love to see Italy win this.

Mind you that 40 was a proper low for Wales. Italy will probably be a bit disappointed not to be further ahead as surely Wales have to improve in the second half?

If they don't they'll lose, simple as that. But they can't play that badly for another 40 minutes surely, and it's 'only' two tries.

Dark day down in the valleys.

But it's been coming. The playing pool is just poor at the moment.

Gutted for North that this is his swansong

Despite the Welsh coming back a little bit, if they do end up losing to the Italians, it would be utterly shameful.

How has Welsh rugby sunk to such a low?

I little disrespectful to the Italians, who have played well so far. But it seems Wales simply don't have the players at the moment. The game's still to be won, though.

Such an improvement from Italy this season, they said on comms earlier they have conceded 84 points less than last season which is mightily impressive.
To be going down by a combined five points in games against England, France and Scotland is such an improvement and great for northern hemisphere rugby.

A shame for North to finish this way, but a great player. Always got nervous when he had the ball!
