In fairness I suspect that both JJ and Akqua recieve news about such dealings at different times, so it is possible that JJ knows nothing about it yet.

Personally I think JJ while almost certainly on the inside, as an ITK he is overvalued. Honestly some people here take every word he says like the word of God. He is just another person, which might like everyone else not be inside on every dealing, and may also be prone to the odd bouts of emotion which might cloud the reality some what.

JJ knows things well before any other itk on here. im pretty sure about that! God? yes, an itk god for me and many others.

That was my impression, too—something a little short of what United paid for de Gea, but not that much short. If Levy's succeeded in knocking that down to what we paid for Gomes, then we can surely look forward to posters who have asked: 'Dan Levy, does he have a clue?' switching to, 'Dan Levy, genius or what?'

just out of curiosity, where have you heard we would be getting him for £9.5 million? I was under the impression that Aulas was very stubborn on the price, and he was asking for something like £12-15 million. It would be a surprising development to see the price dropped by £3-5 million that quickly.

I think the very notion of worshiping someone who posts tidbits of information for us to muse over is desturbing. ITK is a bit of fun, but it shouldn't be anything one should take seriously.

We don't know if he knows things before other itks, what I do know is he likes to post a hell of a lot, and it seems geniune. Although I am yet to be convinced he is a step above the rest, for example I would put peanut and POTL above him. He says pretty much the same things as everyone else. But that's not to say he is worthwhile, but he has the element of human error as proven by the whole Sahin saga.

yes we do know he knows things before others! i think that is pretty obvious, and to say he posts alot is odd as he was a member on here for about 8 years before the masses knew to much about him. Lurking in the shadows. x and if you think the transfer window is a bit of fun maybe you should stay out of here for a while.

JJ initially said that while expensive, the deal could drag (much like the Moutinho deal). Seems to have gone off it, but POTL, Akqa, and The Journalist seem to think it's on. Matt Spiro, a Ligue 1 journo, thinks it's on. Kaboul has even talked to the man himself about it.

Maybe JJ hasn't said we're in for him because we're doing a bit of posturing. Links in the media over the past couple of weeks have reported that we've moved on to Cesar and Stekelenburg. It shows Lyon that Lloris isn't our only choice, but in contrast we seem to be the only club interested in Lloris. Lyon seemingly need the money, just have to wonder how desperate they are.

Or maybe that's too conspiratorial.

As someone who lurks but rarely posts- and I've read for a long long time without signing up, I think that he has earned the moniker ITK, who does reveal things beforehand- it is hardly his fault that the information that he provides doesn't always pan out- things change, managers/players/chairmen change their mind and until the ink dries on the contract (and even after in the case of Matt Le Tissier) no information can be guaranteed 100 %.

ITK and the transfer window are different things. The transfer window goes on regardless of how much we know about the inside. JJ was a member before he was known as an ITK, however since joining twitter he has given a lot of information.

He posts information before others, but that doesn't mean he knows it before others. I am sure many ITK's who post their information might hold on to it for a while before posting it for a number of reasons.

The teams around us already have good goalkeepers. The top three teams in Spain all have good goalkeepers. I can't see him moving to Bundesliga either. Juve, Inter and AC Milan all have good keepers. That kinda leaves us as one of few alternatives for him, at least that's the way I see it.

Plus we're a top four team that plays fantastic football, has an exciting new manager, an incredible new training facility, and the best fans in football. I'd imagine we're an attractive team for a lot of players right now.
