The duty free is in reference to Hugo Lloris. I know the majority don't seem to think a gk is a priority but i'd be pleased as punch if we signed him - he could be a great player for us for years and he's not even at his peak yet. And good international goalies don't come along all that often...

If he should sign, you just wait for the barrage of: 'But why doesn't he catch the ball instead of punching it?' posts. :D

A bit of loan news, not my source but sharing it with u all anyway as it seems to have credibility T Carroll to Southampton Rose to Wigan

Could be bollocks, but at least it's entirely credible bollocks, which makes a change. Let's give Nad a provisional 'Might Actually Have A Clue' rating.

'Sorry you fell short for the manager's job, Roberto, but you can have Danny Rose as compensation.'

Would not be to unhappy with that. Still do not think Rose will ever be good enough for a first team place with us, but who knows, if there is an option to buy. Would be even better

Southampton would be a great loan move for Carroll if true, they play good football and have a very good set up bringing on youth.

Swansea would make sense for Carroll after losing Allen. I'm not saying Carroll could step right in to his shoes, but Caulker proved last season youngsters can impress if they're relied on. Ohh, and if they have Ashley Williams next to them to make them look good!

i dunno, i remember thinking that about falque last season

Falque just had a lot of bad luck though didn't he? Something about being brought in to cover for a player that recovered faster than anticipated or something?

Perhaps this time it will be a bit different, transfer window and all.
