Sashoua started out quiet but really starting to make his mark on the game. Been impressed with him, less so from Edwards.

You don't realise how good Roles' finishing is until you see a striker snatching at his chances while Roles buries his only one into the top corner. i'd back Roles through on go too

Ye, really good performance. Real Madrid had a lot of the ball in the first half, but not in dangerous areas. Our boys forced Real Madrids players to shoot from long distances. They only had one good chance so far.

you can already see England missing the quality of Sancho in the final third

CHO is looking a little bereft of ideas and lacking in confidence atm. Good thing about Sancho is he will always be able to pull out a trick. It's why I would have liked Richards there.

How tall is he? I take it he is one of our next big CB prospects after CCV and Tangana but sounds like he is more of a ball playing CB?

We've got a lot of top CB talents. Tanganga, Eyoma, BLF, then you have Dinzeyi and Brown who I think are decent, Brown more so. Then Binks and Walcott below. We do CBs well.

Out of all the CBs I've seen play the ball out from back game, BLF does it the best and most comfortably, but then will give away and easy ball. The fact he is playing u19s at 16 and while he is still so skinny is a good

Yup. Still 'hurts' with the circumstances and the player he should become.

I thought you might have been talking ab out his style of play, I missed the 2nd half of England match so thought he might have done something.

If it makes you feel better it seems he may have shot himself in the foot. Though he was injured he wasted a lot of last year not playing, and if he probably hoped that he would get a chance under De Boer. Now they are struggling and have Hodgson his chance of ever coming through really diminishes, now he is playing u23s but with lesser coaches.

He could still be a real quality player but not looking good for him at the moment

Good to see us put out sucha strong and baalnced side against Madrid and looking the better team.

I can see so many from this age group potentially being good enough for us.

Nah, don't think you ever want to see a kid throw their career away. So much temptation for them these days. Shame he bit.

SS has probably been our best player, held up the ball well, rarely lost possession and has created most of our best chances.

Edwards has shown glimpses.

Skipp real leader.

Roles some lovely touches.

Sterling needs to learn how to control the ball and run with it.

Edwards far too lazy off the ball currently.not seen any pressing off him at all.when you compare the way their front 3 have pressed us at the back.polar opposites this half.
