Bold bit highlighted

You understand what's going on.

Thanks. And what do you think of TOB now compared to what you remember from when you first saw him? Is he what you thought he'd be after what you had seen?

I remember speaking with you when I first saw him as a 13 year old in that tournament. It was clear to see that him as well as skipp were top talents. I always saw tob as an aggressive player, domininating games, combative in midfield as well as driving the ball forward. In the last year or so he hasn't been as dominant, controlling the game etc. Why? I'm not so sure. One thing that he's been consistent in is playing in that style. Maybe the coaches have told him to just keep it simple. He's been rewarded with a fair amount of first team training and in this most talented England team he always starts.

So I am a bit disappointed to not see him dominate as much as he used to but people who know a lot more about the game than me are very happy with him and his progress so I guess I should be too.

Our u16s I think played in a tournament at Everton over weekend.

We beat West Ham 2-0, Dortmund 2-1, then lost in the Semis to PSV. We drew 2-2 before losing on pens.

Just seen a story on West Ham forum. That Bilic is not allowed to pick this Toni Martinez kid because owners will have to pay a fee lol. Sounds plausible for West Ham. Scored 36 goals in 34 U23 games. Wonder if we could nick him sounds a prospect.

He is 20 years old now. Scored 3 goals in 17 games on loan at Oxford last season for 6 months. He's to similar to Hernandes and that's the reason Bilic hasn't played him. Bilic wants a big and small combo up front. It's 22 goals in 23 U23 appearances. Doubt very much we would be interested.

There’s no doubt there would be clause for 1st PL appearance that would cost West Ham.Think They bought him for £2m. Wouldn’t put it past their owners to let him bang in silly numbers in U23 all season and sell him for £5m.I know his record at Oxford wasn’t great. But 36 in 34 is no fluke there must be something there.Personally for £5m I’d take a punt.

plus we cant judge youths on loan spells alone, looke at kane for example! if he fits our system and we think he will improve then its worth a shot.

Does anyone else instinctively read the common Tashan Oakley-Boothe acroynm "TOB" as "Tobe" (like a shortening of Toby) in their head whenever people type that on here, despite knowing that it's completely wrong? Probably just me.

And Real have just taken the lead with an excellent shot from the edge of the box against us as I type. Bah humbug.

Tanganga equalises with a great header direct from a Shashoua free-kick on the left of the box. 1-1.

spurs now 1 all with madrid . Shashoua put in a good one for tanganga .

Quite enjoying seeing Eyoma playing at right back, he's a big guy and has been doing well defensively.
